I truly loved my experience at the hostel, especially during the Christmas season. Diego and Jeorgie are very attentive, kind, and flexible. We were accommodated in a house located just next to the hostel, which was very convenient. The breakfasts were excellent, though the dinner portions could sometimes be a bit small. Especially for those of us working until 1am. One aspect that could be improved is communication. Some information was not shared or I received it very late. For example, I only found out on my last day that we had access to free kayaks.

It was truly a very beautiful experience. I loved volunteering at the hostel. The staff team is wonderful and made me feel at home. The hours are exactly as agreed, the volunteer house has everything you need, and the hostel is absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend it!! =)

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel. The place is chill but still has some great parties. The breakfast is amazing, and the volunteers' kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook for yourself. Working at the bar is really easy, and I think anyone, even with no experience, can do it. Basically, you just need to mix drinks. The schedule is very clear, and I had lots of free time to explore around. Thanks you, the hostel!

I had an amazing time at the hostel teaching yoga in a little paradise. Working hours and tasks are definitely doable but most importantly most of the staff is amazing! They made me feel like family real quick. There is loads of time to explore Flores and the area around which was great. Breakfast was amazing 🫘 but dinner could be improved. Diego will make sure you feel comfortable and welcome at all times. Can't wait to be back one day! ✨

I had an incredible time at the hostel; the people I've meet during my staying was lovely and u can really live the flores experience in an immersive way !! Big shoutout to Diego who made the staying experience an incredible adventure, always with great energy and new plans for the volunteers !! Most of the staff is very lovely and they make u feel at home since day 1! In the other side I wouldn't recommend u the bartender position if u are not in to going late to bed or partying in general; weekends can be pretty tough but the staff is always friendly and flexible to hear u and help !

This was my first volunteering experience, and it was amazing! I really enjoyed my time in Flores and the activities the Hostel organized. Working hours were respected and tasks were easy. As a vegetarian, i think meals should improve but most of the time they were okey and the manager was receptive when i discussed it with him. I highly recommend volunteering in the hostel.

A really great volunteering!! Diego and Ricardo's positions are substantial. There was true care, kindness and awareness with volunteers. Everything happened as pre-agreed and even better! We received some invitations from the Hostel to do some nice activities! Working hours and tasks are fine and respected. It's really important to create a good environment among volunteers cause you coexist and co-work all together. Breakfasts are great while dinners can improve a bit. I would highly recommend it!!!

Honestly, i dont even know where to begin with this😅 before coming to flores I thought I would pretty much have a chill month on a small island, but boy was i wrong (in a good way)! diego, the host, made sure we explored as much of surrounding area as possible, which I really appreciate. the owners were super sweet too, treating their volunteers and workers like a family! and everyone else? wow, I felt like I literally made a second family here. I cannot even begin describing how fast this month has passed and I would so love to relive this experience once more!

My role as a volunteer at the hostel included teaching one hour of yoga in the morning, and showing guests around the hostel and to their dorm for a few hours in the evening. Morning yoga classes were held in a tropical paradise, a short boat ride across the lake. The evening shift was fun, easy and straightforward and it allowed me to meet so many travelers. The entire team at the hostel was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Flores was a magical place, I cannot wait to return someday!

Hotel el hostel es un excelente lugar para mejorar tu inglés, aprender a hacer tragos y sociabilizar con gente local. Realmente mi experiencia aquí a sido muy buena, con rica comida y buen ambiente. Estoy muy agradecida por la oportunidad de ser parte de este lindo proyecto de vida! Si pueden venir a flores no lo piensen dos veces!! Pero si vienen que su ayuda sea real y comprometida con este lugar.
