A mix between a hostel/airbnb/hotel and also where local people are living ... meet people from all over the world and you will have also tons of free time to explore the alps and the beautiful touristy city of Lucern. You will help with housekeeping and do some checkins with the guests when I am out of the house. Volunteering or we also offer full time jobs for 2026 (one year at least and more responsibility).

Chambre privée: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre privée. En d'autres termes, une chambre rien que pour vous.

Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

We have lots of young people in the house who live here or some couchsurfers and airbnbs. To take care of everything and doing gardening renovation and cleaning, is my day mostly. But if you're a young, funny and open person who would like to learn English or German (mostly also some other languages are spoken in the house) and meet new people from all over the world you're more than welcome to join. We would be happy if you could help us out with cleaning, gardening, cooking, shopping or whatever you feel like to do for the community. Daily tasks are cleaning, laundry and taking care of the house and the guests. In return, you will get a bed in the Dorm or a free room if one is not booked. Best is if you would like to stay for a month or longer. We would be happy to meet you soon!

Activités et horaires

You will learn everything how to run a hostel by yourself ... I also live here and mostly I am around but your job is often to take care of the house and the guests ... After beeing here for a couple of weeks or month you can run your own hostel if you want :-) ...
Your job is mostly make 5-15 beds ready in the morning and do some cleaning in the house. The amount of work really depends on the season. In the evening you learn how to welcome guests from 4pm-10pm if I am not here. But because we are a small hostel it varies from 5 to 20 checkins and beds you need to take care of. The good thing is we have a strict age restriction of 18-40 years for the guests so you will meet mostly likeminded solo travelers from all over the world wher you find lots of stuff in common.

Règles

Because of the neighboors and other guest who want to sleep after 10pm we need to be partybreakers and explain it to the guests who want to stay awake to go party down to the city. Thats a really hard task sometimes.
