El refugio se sintió como un hogar lejos de casa, las personas, el ambiente, y sobre todo los perritos ayudaron a que siempre me sienta acompañada. Siempre se respetó los horarios y tareas. Marco y Elisa con unas increíbles personas, y te ayudaran en lo que necesites. 🫶🏽

Holaaaa comunidad el refugio, la verdad que solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento por esta experiencia. Aprendí a desarrollarme como persona, a entender la vida en la montaña y a cómo trabajar como los perros. Gracias por cada momento compartido con muchos voluntarios, es una gran familia. Gracias a Marco, Eli e Bea porque ellos hacen que te sientas como en casa y estén en cada detalle que se necesita. Les recomiendo visitar este lugar al 100%. Familia, amor y risas en lo que encontrarás en cada rincón del refugio.❤️

The shelter has been my first volunteering experience, and I'm so glad I decided to try this way of traveling right here. Elisa and Marco are such generous and friendly people, they make everyone feel welcome. I've loved working with the dogs, I will genuinely miss lots of them. Also, I had plenty of free time to explore Liguria. You get to live the experience with other volunteers, and the atmosphere in the house is great. I would 100% recommend this volunteer, and I'll definitely be back! Thank you for everything, Elisa, Marco, Bea, the people at Bawilla and doggies, a presto! ❤️

Fue mi primer voluntariado y no pude haber tenido una mejor experiencia, las tareas no son pesadas, respetan mucho tu tiempo y son muy flexibles, se preocupan mucho por los voluntarios y te hacen sentir como en familia❤️ la verdad estoy muy agradecida con ellos y con los demás voluntarios por todo.

The shelter is an incredible experience to find a home away from home. Marco and Eliza are incredibly welcoming, friendly, honest, and respectful who make a commitment to include and support you in their lives. The work is simple and rewarding, I majorly worked with taking care of the dogs (absolutely amazing), as well as did some weeding/yardwork. Marco and Eliza are very flexible and helpful, recommending me local areas, helping with schedule flexibility, and truly just kind fun people. I would definitely recommend and return!

I'm so grateful that I got the chance to be part of this amazing project. Elisa and Marco and (everyone else there aswell) are such kind, open-minded and inspiring people who make you feel at home right away! You can really sense how much love, hard work and positive energy flows into everything they do! The place itself is beautiful and very well taken care of. The Dogs have my heart and spending time with them teaches you alot about yourself. The work is very enjoyable and the atmosphere makes it easy to connect with everyone. Im so thankful to you guys and would love to come back soon!!💋

My experience at the shelter was my first ever volunteering and my first solo trip abroad and for both of them it was perfect! Everyone made me feel welcome and I immediately felt like at home. I made lifelong friends and unforgettable experiences and memories. The work itself was easy and I actually enjoyed it. Grazie mille Marco & Elisa💓

My third time at the shelter ;) Never the same but always beautiful experience of open-minded hosts Elisa and Marco. These people are hard-working, patient and very helpful if you need anything. The job is not hard and the schedule is flexible. Prepare yourself to be out of your comfort zone but experiencing one of the best volunteering. <3

My third stay at the shelter was -as always- such a unique experience! Spending time with other volunteers, making friends for life and enjoying the wonderful location in the Ligurian mountains close to the ocean… i am truly grateful for being able to come back to the shelter and live a new adventure everytime. Huge thank you to Eli and Marco! I love you guys❤️

Aunque estuve solo un mes, el refugio es un hogar lejos de casa ❤️ el tiempo libre lo ocupas para ir al súper o ir a los pueblos aledaños (TODOS lindos). Las tareas son divertidas, no son actividades pesadas. Yo me enamoré de cada uno de los 25 perros que llegan a tener ❤️. Eli, Bea y Marco se involucran muchísimo y te hacen sentir cómodo y en casa! La vibra con los otros voluntarios es muy buena y divertida. Fue mi primer experiencia y tuve mucha suerte de haber estado ahí!
