This was a great place to slow down and get to enjoy the quiet and nature in Slovenia! The hosts Anna and Vlad were very kind and welcoming. The work was fairly easy and working hours were never pushed longer. they always made sure there was lots of food in the kitchen and asked what we wanted. Anna and vlad make you feel like family and I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who likes nature! The only thing i'd say to be improved would be communication between the staff and volunteers. Other than that it was a great experience and i'm hoping to make it back one day :)

La experiencia fue fabulosa ! Anna y Wladi son excelentes personas tanto en lo humano como en su rol de anfitriones/"jefes", se preocupan de que estes a gusto y te dan todas las facilidades para que puedas conocer los alrededores. El lugar es hermoso, todo naturaleza y pese a que esta un poco alejado, esta muy bien conectado, te asignan una habitacion que compartes con los otros voluntarios. El trabajo es bastante sencillo ya que solo es limpieza y un poco de ayuda con la lavanderia. Se respetan turnos, horarios y tu eliges tu dia libre previa coordinacion. Estoy totalmente agradecida!

Only one word: incredible! It was my first experience as a volunteer and it was awesome! All was perfect! The host, the place, the other volunteers... everything was much much better than expected. I strongly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and want to meet incredible people. Thank you so much for everything! Hope to see you again :)

Where do I even start?! I already want to go back! It's been incredible! Anna is simply awesome; both her and Vlad are the most interesting, warm and wonderful of souls <3 They went out of their way to dine with us, take us on a hike or adventure when they could. The location is ridiculously gorgeous; immense mountains, pale blue waters. The work was super reasonable; 10am start and usually finished by 2. We could raid the kitchen as we pleased- just the sweetest deal with plenty of time to roam (swim, cycle, hike!) and the fellow volunteers were equally as awesome. A truly enchanting trip ✨

It's just an incredible experience. The hosts do so much for the volunteers, the area is unbelievably close to nature, mountains, lakes... with lots to discover. The work is clear and well explained I definitely recommend this experience, thank you all so much!

My stay with the hotel was great. During my stay there was other 3 volunteers, it was really nice meeting them all. The work is as mentioned, the hours are fair, the job is easy. The staff was open to talk to and friendly. The area is beautiful with a lot of hikes to do, lakes, etc. I definetly recommend this experience. And to complete, Ana is amazing! She did everything under her power to make everyone comfortable and to have a good time. Glad I met her. Thank you all!

My experience in the hotel was amazing, the place and surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. You can use the bikes to go to the lake and there are a lot of hikings to do too. The fridge is always full and Anna is an incredible host, always taking care of you. She even invited us to see Barbie! About the hours of work, it depends on the day but it's never more than the stipulated. I highly recommend this volunteering! :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 weeks at the hotel! Work was as described. The 1st week was busy with lots of checkouts and check ins. The 2nd week was quieter which saw us have some shorter working hours. Anna was great! She took us to the movies and out for dinner one night. They are currently renovating the volunteers accommodation and once completed this will be great! Communication from the owners of the business could be improved and this was discussed during my stay. They are receptive to feedback and I think a lot of the time it came down to cultural differences. I hope to return one day!

This was my wife and my first Worldpackers experience and we had a fantastic time! Our stay was brief, only for two weeks, but we found that we wished we had planned to stay for longer almost immediately after arriving. The work was very fair and gave us ample time to explore the surrounding area. The owners were eager to give us suggestions for things to do, drive us to areas on our days off, and even take us out for day trips and play board games on the less busy days when there was less work. If you like to get out into nature and see the countryside, I can't recommend this place enough!
