Our host Mohammed made us feel at home, as part of his family. He took care of us and the entire team always treated us with respect. The environment was really nice and funny as well. We had the chance to meet new people everyday (tourists that arrived at the camping) and to really experience the camping life at the Wadi Rum desert. We helped them with their website, booking, TripAdvisor and it was great to feel that our host respected our opinions and that he trusted our work. It was only 1 week but it felt like a month (at least). We already miss them! thank you so much Mohammed! 😊😍

Mohammad was a great host throughout my whole stay. On some days, he will take arrange you a jeep tours, so you can experience the area far better than just from the camping. Despite the food being delicious, it was the same everyday, so don't expect much variety. I mainly did photos for the camping and helped a bit with website, but it felt I was working a bit more hours than stated here. Even though I liked it as there isn't that much else to do in the camping during the day.

Working in the camping Night the camping was definitely a very interesting and challenging experience and I feel grateful I did it! With this volunteering, you will be sleeping most of the time in the middle of the desert, spending time with beduins and travelers from all over the world which is amazing and very enriching!Thanks to Mohammed specifically, his friends and cousins like Rasheed or Andullah! They always try to make me feel comfortable and home there in Wadi Rum!😊

Mohammad was so much fun!! He was easy to get along with and had a great sense of humour and we became great friends. Experiencing the Wadi Rum landscape was truly amazing, but the most rewarding aspect of the whole thing was the immersion in the local lifestyle. It was a culture shock, but one that everyone should be exposed to!
