I had a wonderful month staying at the Center, the people I lived and worked with became like a family. The place itself its healing and grounding. I enjoyed waking up to the silence of the mountains and sun. The tasks were very fair and nice, I really enjoyed learning about the juicing processes and more. The owners really care about their place and their volunteers. Chris, one of the owners, really made me feel safe and appreciated. I will never forget this place and the people that made it so special!

I had the most amazing, transformative, and peaceful time at the Center. It instantly feels like a little home away from home. The team is welcoming and supportive, and the work is balanced, leaving plenty of time to relax, explore, or just soak it all in. Being able to join the yoga and meditation classes made the experience even more nourishing. I loved it so much that I ended up extending my stay by a couple of weeks. So grateful for this beautiful place and all the wonderful people who made it extra special.

I had such an incredible time at the Center! Although I only stayed two weeks, the community made such a big impact on me. I learned so much, had the opportunity to try new things, foods, and explore Lagos in my free time! The hosts truly care and made it such a great environment. Thank you all for everything! Volunteering at the Center was a peaceful and rewarding experience. The team's graceful approach made learning easy, with clear guidance and kindness when mistakes happened. I loved having my own tent, joining yoga, meditation and drumming sessions, and enjoying treatments at staff rates. Richard and Ivan took us to local experiences like ecstatic dance and pizza nights. Cooking vegetarian meals and connecting with the vibrant volunteer community made it truly special. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about retreats and spend time in a beautiful venue.

This was my first ever volunteer work and solo travel! I could not recommend it enough. I learned more about health and wellness in 5 weeks than I have in my life back in the states. After a couple days you start to acclimate and everyone is like family. You get amazing food and options to join the yoga, sound healing, and the meditations. The work you do doesn't even feel like work because you get to learn so much! I will be back for sure! Home away from home!❤️

The Center was not just any volunteer experience, we truly became a family. The owners really understand how to take care of us I always felt valued and respected. The work/hours ratio is very fair and the perks are amazing. I am very grateful for everyone I met and for everything I learned! Be prepared to take Uber or Bolt if you wanna go out because the property is outside of town and a lot of the times it is the only option. But there are many other volunteers so you can always share If you are interested in yoga, a healthy lifestyle and reconnecting with yourself, apply now!!!

Moinos the Center can only be described as a family. A group of strangers who have come together to make something beautiful. You will never see the fruit of your own labour, but every day you witness the years of others hard work and investment into the property. People come from all walks of life to make this a safe, inclusive, eco conscious, family ran community. We came as strangers and left with lifelong bonds because Moinos fosters these relationships.
