L'expérience

Since the school was founded, it has been devoted to training locals to become professional and/or certified musicians and teachers. Your role as a volunteer will be focusing on their children’s program, which is designed to provide children and youngsters with early preparation for professional musical studies in order to fulfil the demands and expectations in the growing market of music.

Description: Otra Cosa relies on donations from volunteers to fund operating activities. By asking each volunteer for a donation it makes it possible for us to keep our projects and services viable. Contribution rates vary according to the duration of the placement. For a two-month volunteer placement, for example, volunteers contribute £250. Please note that all volunteer positions are also available as Internships. With this add-on you will receive an extra level of mentorship and where necessary all appropriate liaison with your academic institution to ensure compliance with internship placement requirements. Activités et horaires

● Coaching children and adolescence with a creative passion for music, encouraging in them individuality linked with musical values, and instilling in them the importance of practicing and hard work.
● Giving classes/workshops to develop the musical skills of students- through the experience of various forms of orchestral music.
● Teaching children how to play musical instruments.
● Showing children the importance of practicing everyday and discipline.
● Giving advice about proper care and maintenance of instruments.
● Bringing in new ideas to improve the musical techniques and other ad-hoc features.
