I absolutely loved my stay at the surf camp! I met so many wonderful people and made friendships that will last a lifetime. It is definitely a huge party scene, so if that is what you're looking for, head this way! I will say it is a bit overpriced for what you are given, and be prepared to eat beans and rice every single meal of your stay. Overall, I loved it at the surf camp and would 100% recommend it to others!

I had an amazing experience while staying at the surf camp. What you put in is what you get out, so put yourself out there & try new things. It is a great place to experience camp life & to make friends with the locals. I stayed for a month & a week and miss it already. Thank you to everyone there. Special shoutouts to Roger & Pika…gonna miss you guys at breakfast/dinner time <3

I loved every moment, from start to finish. The atmosphere was amazing, the people were incredible, and I made so many new friends. I learned, laughed, and surfed—everything you could ask for. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for meeting other travelers! The work is not more than an hour a day and they offer a lot of activities like music bingo, excursions, bonfire, ... (you have to pay extra for this). I had a great time there!

If you're looking for an easy way to meet tons of new friends from around the world then this is the place for you! With being well staffed by volunteers, the work load is light, allowing for plenty of free time to enjoy and explore the surf camp. Each day you can choose to ride the shuttle to the beach for surf lessons, hang out with friends or just a ride into town. You can also make your own plans to leave (Uber & hitchhiking are common) if you'd like to go elsewhere. It is definitely the most affordable way to stay in the surf camp!
