The time the project, Evenlight, the director, the staff and the kids will be unforgettable for me. I not only have learned something about commitment and engagement for the people, I also learned something about the life of the tanzanian people and was treated like I was one of them. the project helped me wherever and whenever he could and made sure that his home was also mine. He showed me local markets and had an answer for every question I had. The engagement of Flora, the director, for the kids and teenagers at the school will always have a place in my heart. My experience the project was simply amazing! He's such a beautiful and genuine person — someone you can fully trust. From the very first moment, I felt safe and comfortable with him✨The experience at the school left me speechless, the kids are absolute angels ❤️so grateful for even the smallest gestures. The only bad thing about this experience is that it's over. I already miss the project, his family, the children, and the whole community so much🤍🤍🤍

Ces 3 semaines passées avec the project et Hevenlight ont été géniales. Le travail avec les enfants est super sympa. Tout le monde est très investi et on a même eu droit à une petite fête avant de partir. Pour ce qui est de l'hébergement, c'est vraiment top. On a notre propre chambre et salle de bain. Le lit est confortable. Et pour ce qui est des repas, Hebenlight cuisine super bien et s'adapte à nos goûts. Pour finir, on a réalisé 1 semaine de safari avec the project. Il s'adapte vraiment à nos envies mais il ne fait pas hésiter à demander plus de précisions pour être sûr de faire ce que vous voulez

Romane and her partner were amazing volunteers! They brought great energy, kindness, and love to our community. They supported the children with learning, and daily care, and also helped a lot at home with different tasks. Both of them connected so well with the local people and made everyone feel happy and comfortable. We’re very thankful for their time, effort, and big hearts.

This experience was better than I could have ever imagined! The hospitality of both the project and Everlight was perfect, we felt extremely welcomed and looked after over the entire trip. We also got to explore Arusha with host the project, by visiting local attractions, markets and shops. The school the project works with is such an amazing organisation and was an experience I will never forget. My friend and I that completed this World Packers experience feel so lucky that we found the project's page!

Our Stay the project was beyond anything we could have imagined! From the moment we met him it instantly felt like a safe welcoming home. the project was attentive with all our needs, and made sure our safety was a top priority. Everlight was a gem, she cooked (we helped!), she helped with our washing and was just an all rounder. We visited the school each day, which was a beautiful experience, which we also found the strong connection the project has built with this community of people already. We also got taken around to local markets and restaurants to experience the local culture. Highly Recommend. ❤️

Kenny is a genuine and spontaneous person who cares about every detail of your stay. You'll live at his home, enjoying delicious local dishes prepared by Heavenlight, his trusted housekeeper. Volunteering takes place in orphanages and schools in Arusha, offering a chance to experience real Tanzania. As Kenny says, he doesn't let you visit Tanzania, he makes you live it. The program is flexible (go with the flow), and with him you can also arrange safaris, excursions, and discover authentic local places. Truly recommended!

Meeting Kenny and his triends has been one of the best thing that happened so far. My mum and I lived next to the organization, hosted by Kenny's friends: we created a deep bond and telt like part of the family. These people, the kids and the places have stolen our heart. Kenny is an amazing guy: sociable, reliable, always available and always checking if everything is going good. At the organization you take care of the kids, following their needs and making them feel loved. I have a lot to say, but too little space, so feel free to text me. Honestly one of the best experience of my life! the home is a place where you can teach english or help with other staff but at the you learn more than them, the kids only want love and play with you. Live with Kenny was the best thing ever, we ate every day local food made by them, he help me in every decision i wanted to make, also with some things to do around arusha he know the better places. I really felt like at home, the house is clean and safe all rounded by nature. I want to came back for sure, i only can say thank you very much and i hope to see kenny, his family and kids again

"the home means Love". I lived with Kenny, his grandmother who I lovingly called "Bibi" and with the girl who take care of the grandma, Heavenlight, "Dada", people of extreme sensitivity and empathy, always ready to help you, without ever judging, always ready to give you their love without asking for anything in return. Kenny is not just a simple host, Kenny is an extraordinary, ambitious, and generous guy who made my experience incredible, acting as a guide, immersing me in the local culture, giving me advice and teaching me many things. The children of the home are the best!
