Valle de Bravo es un lugar hermoso con muchas cosas que hacer, el hostel no puede estar enejor ubicación, a unos cuantos metros del centro, el staff, voluntarios y huéspedes son super lindos y te hacen sentir en casa desde el primer momento! Gracias de nuevo y nos vemos pronto 🤗 recomendado enormemente este voluntariado!

It was my first volunteer experience and it was amazing. I met a lot of very nice people! It's a small but very cozy hostel. The work is really easy, the coworkers are all very nice! The place is very cute, it's a very good place in Mexico, very touristique during vacation, a lot of local food, waterfalls, hike, sunset, sunrise there is a lot of things to do, I really liked it, and I will miss the staff a lot!

Fue una excelente experiencia. El host te trata como compañero, se preocupa por tus necesidades y es agradable la convivencia con todo el equipo en general. Las actividades a realizar son claras. Ya no me quería ir!

En el hostel encuentras un hogar y en todo su equipo encuentras una familia. No hubiera querido irme. Ya deseo regresar y quedarme más tiempo. Si hubo algo malo, es que el tiempo se me hizo muy corto. Carlos es una persona fenomenal y alguien a quien no podría olvidar. Todo lo pactado se cumple y las labores se hacen divertidas. Un abrazo sincero para Fonso, Melany, Marisol y Anayeli. No se olviden de mí!

Fue una experiencia muy bonita (mi primera como voluntaria), las personas del hostal fueron muy amables y el trabajo no fue para nada pesado. Valle de Bravo es un lugar padrísimo, a pesar de que es relativamente tranquilo y las mejores actividades son los fines de semana. Me encantó mi estadía! Juan Carlos fue un super anfitrión ☺️

Experiencia súper linda! El trabajo era básicamente recepción pero al ser temporada baja recibía muy pocos huéspedes. Carlos es un buen anfitrión y mis compañeros Jesús, Norma y Megan re linda gente, me llevo amigos y momentos muy lindos vividos aquí. el hostel es lindo con una terraza muy cómoda. Algo para mejorar sería la habitación de voluntarios, extremadamente pequeña. El desayuno es variado con platillos típicos mexicanos. Los horarios se cumplieron y tenes mucho tiempo libre para visitar la hermosa Valle de Bravo :)

I had an amazing time in Valle at the hostel and love this town. Overall Carlos was very good at communicating and would respond to messages quickly, which I appreciate. However he would often give the schedule a day or two before you had to work so it could be hard to plan your week and I told him about mold in one of the bathrooms multiple times and it never got cleaned. If you plan on doing reception you will need to know conversational Spanish. I love community the feel in the hostel but the volunteer room is tiny and he even put 7 people in there once and often guests slept with us.

We had a good experience volunteering at the hostel. Although the hostel is mainly run by volunteers, there is a homely feel about it, as we all helped each other. Beware if you are claustrophobic or do not enjoy living in tiny places, this experience might not be for you. There is a nice rooftop you can hang out at too. The tasks are simple and easy and there is plenty of time for you to explore the surroundings of Valle de Bravo too! We also got discounts on tours as well as commission for selling guests tours. I would only perhaps comment on how late our shifts were addressed.

Had a great time volunteering, made lots of friends and memories , the work is very relaxed, made commission from selling tours, and discounts on tours... Keep in mind the hostel is very small and the dorm is very small. However, the terrace is great, though, I felt there was a lack of communication between the host and volunteers, as the volunteers run the hostel, shifts were released too late in the evening.
