I had enjoyed my time with Andrew and his family. His oldest son and I got along so well and enjoyed playing Uno together he might need a new deck of cards if anyone has an extra deck. My focus was to work with teachers and teach them the basics of a sewing machine so that they can then teach the students how to sew period pads along with basic bags. While the teachers have a new sewing machine and supplies, they will also be in need of any general supplies in the future. Fabric is easy to aquire but pins, needles, and and all of the little tidbits we take for granted are much harder to find.

I had the best time ever in the NGO. Andrew and his family were loving and caring and I really felt home. Helping those kids really changed my life forever and I'll never forget them! Every person on this world should experience something like this

We have had na amazing two weeks at the organization close to Kisii. Andrew and the family were really welcoming and we felt like we were part of the family. Because the schoolyear was ending, our volunteer program mostly consisted of preparing the kids on their exams and the big day of the year: Graduations Day. Be aware that the community considers you as someone with money, which can be a bit overwhelming. Although, a simple explation made them understand that we rather supported the school in general by setting up a fundraising to finish their new schoolbuilding.

Volunteering at the organization was one of the best experiences I ever had! Andrew and his family made the best they could to make me feel at home, the kids are adorable and the project is great! I'll definitely keep on touch with them!

I spent two weeks in Nyamira volunteering for the organization. It is a young organization which is still on the way to became a place where children can create opportunities and get education.As a volunteer I was hosted by Andrew and his family and could experience the life there close up.My time spent with the children was one of the best experiences I had and will always keep in touch with them. Thank you for everything :)

The experience was amazing. Andrew and his family are very open and hospitable. I've learned a lot about the culture and the work that Andrew and his Team do with the Children is impressive...I'm so grateful to had the oportunnity to be there. I really try to go again next year. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
