Volunteering at the hostel has been one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had. From the very first day, I felt at home, the atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, and everyone genuinely goes out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and supported. There's a great balance between work and free time, and the rotational shifts ensure that tasks stay varied and never feel repetitive. The location is unbeatable, right by the ocean and within walking distance of everything you might need. I genuinely recommend this experience to everyone!

It was my first volunteer experience and I immediately felt at ease and at home. You are constantly in contact with new people with lots of interesting stories to tell, you grow mentally, you learn new languages, new customs, new ways of facing life. The work was not too demanding and you always had time to do activities in this paradise island such as surfing, hiking, snorkeling... I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, I will always carry this experience with me

This was my first volunteering experience, and it was truly amazing. The hostel has a warm, homey atmosphere, and the terrace overlooking the ocean is absolutely perfect. The work is very easy, the schedule is respected, and the manager is lovely—always available and happy to help with any questions. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering volunteering.

My stay at the hostel was simply stunning. Originally, I was supposed to stay for only one month, but I ended up staying for three. The shifts are well-respected, and although they might seem a bit heavy at first (that's because I worked during the entire high season)once you get used to it, they become very quick and easy. The people are amazing, Max (the manager)always listens to the volunteers' needs and is always willing to accommodate them.My experience was made even more magical by my fellow volunteers, Jaime, and all the guests you get to meet on that spectacular terrace overlooking the sea

I'm really happy that here at the hostel was my first volunteering experience. From the very beginning, I felt lucky to be part of such a great team of volunteers who made me feel at home right away. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I met incredible people along the way. Max genuinely cares about making sure you have a good time at the hostel, and once you understand the tasks, everything becomes pretty easy and smooth. The location is stunning, and the terrace is just the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. I had a wonderful time here, and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back💛

My experience at the the hostel was a really good one. It was my first time volunteering. As soon as I arrived at this place, the other volunteers made me directly feel like home. I met a lot of new people, but the most important thing for me is that I met friends for life. Max the manager and Jaime made sure, that we have a good time at the hostel and about the work, as soon as you start to develop your own routine, work gets pretty easy and chill. Also the location of the hostel and the big roof terrace were big pros. I really enjoyed my time there and I'm looking forward to come back💖

My stay at the hostel has been very beautiful. The location and the hostel is perfect. The shared room for the volunteer is small as mentioned in the description but I didn't mind it as it's only for sleeping in. Max is a really good boss. Firm and direct but also funny and reliable. I really appreciate him always checking in and making me feel safe and comfortable (especially being the only girl volunteer and majority of the guests being men at times). I would really recommend the experience for everyone :)

The experience was wonderful; I would do it 1,000 more times. Max (the manager) is a friendly and incredibly kind person, always making sure that your experience is going well. The team of volunteers I worked with was amazing and made the experience amazing. The tasks were very simple and the shifts and schedules were always respected. The hostel is a super chill and relaxing place (with a breathtaking terrace) where you can enjoy your time During your volunteer you can even get discounts on surf classes and rents but also some commissions if you sell their opportunities

The experience was amazing, I had one of the best time of my life. Max (the hostel's manager) is a lovely and respectful person, he always look after you and he's always checking if your experience is going well. The Volunteers team was amazing, we shared a lot of time together and it was really easy to get along. The shift time are always respected and the task are super easy, no need any specific skill to work in here. To sum up if you're looking for a chill experience while enjoying GC this might be the perfect place. I hope I'll come back some day, thanks the hostel <3

Amazing experience!! I was lucky enough to be volunteering at the same time as some amazing volunteers, which is really what made the stay so wonderful (along with the great terrace of course😉) I never met the owner but the manager and his assistant manager are both very welcoming and positive people, who cared about the volunteers' well-being. The work wasn't too hard but not interesting either, and the working hours were respected. All in all a great place to stay with the possibility to have a great time!!
