Working at the hostelis an AWESOME experience. The people here are amazing and I have made so many friends, which makes it so difficult to leave! The rooms are cozy, and the communal spaces indoor and outdoor to hang out with everyone are very nice. I am going to miss the chill vibes and amazing people. If you are outgoing and social and want a place to relax and have lots of free time this is the place. The beaches are amazing, and Sydney is only 1.5 hours away by train. The work is fair and I cannot thank Nathan and Kerrie enough for this experience and for having me here :) <3!

Where to even begin… the hostel, there is something oh so special about you. This place is a solo travelers dream. When I first arrived a month ago I was scared out of my mind. I was so nervous about meeting new people and getting adjusted to a new environment, but as soon as I walked into the hostel, it became a home. I have met so many genuine, kind hearted, caring individuals at this hostel from all around the globe. Everyone made me feel like part of a big family, including the hosts Kerrie and Nathan. If you're looking for a place to meet amazing people, this is it!

The hostelwas amazing! Kerrie and Nathan were super welcoming and great hosts. The hostel had such a cool vibe and had a very family-like atmosphere. Great location too- walking distance to a beautiful beach and town! Tip: You have to try Yachties Donut the hostelfor the best nutella donuts! The work was not bad, it was exactly as described. Doing it with all the other volunteers made it a lot better! Nathan and Kerrie are very flexible and were very understanding. I had a great experience here and would definitely recommend to others! 🌊☀️🤗

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel! Kerri and Nathan are very kind and accommodating and the work was easy and chill. All of the volunteers were very welcoming and I am grateful to have made such great friends during my stay! It's also nice that it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach and only an hour and a half from Sydney. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The hostelis truly an incredible place. The host puts in so much effort to cultivate a social, welcoming, and relaxing experience for the volunteers. There are lots of other worldpackers here and the community really does feel like a family. The work is 2 hours a day, 6 days a week, and one day a week you will have to da longer shift but its very reasonable and the host is flexible. This property is great if you're looking for a laidback lifestyle and making connections with other travelers. I made unforgettable memories here and I will miss everyone so much, I didn't want to leave!

I loved my stay here. I met the most incredible people from so many different places. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. The owners are so friendly and genuinely care about the volunteers. You only get one day off a week but you also only work like 2 hours usually. The work is relatively easy and they give options on what to do. Wollongong is actually amazing, the views, the ocean, the lighthouses, the coffee, everything is honestly a dream.

I am very thankful for my stay at the Hostel. I never had such a great time. The work is easy. There are 3 shifts: 7am to 9am: Cleaning on your own before everyone weaks up 10am to 12am: (the shift everyone has most of the time) Girls: Cleaning the hostel, Boys: wiping and cleaning the garden 10am to 10pm: work 10am to 12am and having a look for the hygiene of the hostel until 10pm. ( you don't have to stay the hole day in the hostel) I met so many wonderful people. Thank you very much!
