They were super helpful and friendly even though i asked to them about how to perform tasks, etc a lot. I could see them trying to be close to me and very welcoming. I don't speak Spanish, but i could learn a little of Spanish here. The rooftop is super beautiful and well organized. I enjoyed it a lot! Also i have met many people from all over the world, i could get improved English as well. When i took day off, it was able to go to other city for few days trip which was really nice for travelers. Thanks for giving me a chance to volunteer although i have not done it before!:) Bless you!

Stephan was awesome and super understanding. If things come up for you problems or needs communicate with him and he will help you find a solution. The cleaning position is not for the faint of heart and it is tiring work, the person who is in charge of the cleaning is very particular and does not have a lot of patience if you don't speak fluent spanish and is very particular about odd things that might be confusing if you don't fully understand spanish. Overall I am grateful for this though because it did really make me learn quickly. The staff is like a family and that I really loved :)

Ser voluntario en el hostel fue mi primera experiencia con Worldpackers. El lugar se encuentra en una zona muy céntrica de PDC y a solo una cuadra del mar. Esta experiencia me enseñó a ser más firme en mis decisiones y me apena decir que desde un principio no fue acordado el trabajo que yo había quedado en mi aplicación , por lo que hubieron varios mal entendidos.

I had a great time at the hostel! Met a lot of cool people and the people who work and volunteer there are veryyyy nice. They had a lot of patience with me, teaching me how to do stuff, showing me around and helping me to learn Spanish. Los amooooo

Estoy muy feliz de haber realizado por primera vez un voluntariado en el hostel, el equipo de trabajo fue el mejor, siempre se respetaban los horarios acordados nunca hubo problemas en general y el ambiente es muy bueno. El trabajo es ameno y da el tiempo libre suficiente para hacer otras actividades o salir a conocer otros lugares. Se conoce a gente de muchas partes del mundo y todo esto genera una experiencia muy cool. Muchas gracias al Staff y a mis compañeras voluntarias por estas 5 semanas increíbles.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue hermosa. Me sentí a gusto trabajando con Trini, Karla, Gera y Jeni. Nos reímos mucho. Lo mejor que me llevo del hostel es el intercambio cultural y las relaciones de amistad que hice. Lo recomiendo muchísimo si es la primera vez que salen de viaje y solas/os

La experiencia fue increíble y fue mi primera!!! Así que fue un sueño hecho realidad. La amabilidad y buena onda entre todos los voluntarios y los que trabajan ahí fue perfecta y generé de hecho muchos amigos. El lugar es cálido y cercano a todo, además de que siempre cumplían con lo prometido y respetaban las opiniones de todos. Sin duda alguna es súper recomendable y regresaría mil veces más :)

Primero, me gustaría agradecerles por la oportunidad de ser parte de Familia el hostel. Desde el momento en que llegué al hostal fui muy bien recibido. La actividad de voluntariado es muy fluida, Jenifer y los demás empleados son muy atentos y amables, siempre me trataron bien y siempre dispuestos a hablar de todo. El hostal tiene muy buen desayuno, habitaciones muy limpias y demás ambientes. Tuve una experiencia increíble e hice amigos que tendré de por vida. Me sentí como en casa.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y me llevo una muy linda experiencia en todo sentido, sin duda volvería a repetirla ...se les toma cariño a la gente que a diario trabaja alli. el hostel está muy bien ubicado y las tareas más bien son básicas lo que uno diariamente realiza en su casa. el ínternet funciona super bien lo que que resulta muy bueno a la hora de comunicarse con la familia .
