The tasks are easy and you get the hang of it really quick. The team is super friendly and helps you when you need it. It is housekeeping so you know what you get yourself into but the 3 hours go by really fast. Don't forget to request your days off early enough when you want a specific one. Had a great time xx

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel so much! I made really good friends with the other volunteers and we had a lot of fun together. Edinburgh is absolutely amazing and the hostel has the best possible location! The amount of work was bearable, although there are many stairs and the bags are quite heavy sometimes. You can ask for specific days off and you usually end up getting them, so that's nice. It's super cold at the hostel, so it's important to bring a lot of warm clothes. It was my first volunteering experience and I don't regret choosing the hostel for it :)

Absolutely loved my experience at EBH! Great for first time volunteers. The work is very manageable and expectations are clear. Just be prepared for lots of stairs ;)

I had a wonderful time in Edinburgh at the hostel :) There is tonnes to do in and around Edinburgh and the work is only 2-3 hours a day. the hostel became a second home to me even if i was a little intimidated at first. my advice is to give yourself time to adjust. this was my third time volunteering and i've learnt that each experience is totally different in a great way. for example there are 15 volunteers at any one time! so lots of opportunities to make friends :) i'm super super grateful for the friends i made there and to Sergio for making everyone feel welcome. thank you ⭐️

I've had a wonderful first Worldpackers experience at Edinburgh Backpacker's Hostel. Edinburgh is a very beautiful and vibrant city. The hostel is perfectly located in the centre, with many bars and pubs a 3 min walk away. The managers and volunteers are all very nice and welcoming. The work is easy and goes by quick so there is plenty of time to explore Edinburgh and even other parts of Scotland on your days off. It is a great place to enjoy the city and make new friends :)

So glad I had the opportunity to volunteer here for a while. Everyone is super nice and welcoming, I loved the vibes in the hostel and the working hours were always respected. Plus I can assure you won't find a better location! I leave with great memories and I would definitely come back. I would recommend this experience to anyone :)

I enjoyed my month in Edinburgh at EBH so much! lovely team, lovely volunteers I was working with! EBH is a great spot to meet other travelers, and see sights! thanks team for the home away from home 😊🙏🏽
