I had such an amazing time here with Roswitha and Fridus. They are lovely people and very welcoming. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. During my stay I helped to prepare and cook food but also walk the dogs which are very friendly and cute. I learned a lot of different things there, both about myself and how to manage a restaurant . It was really enriching ! In addition to that, the volunteers that I met there were very friendly and had much fun together. I would definitely recommend this place ! Thank you all for this amazing and unforgettable experience :)

Had a great time staying with Fridus and Roswitha. Learnt a lot from the both of them; in construction and food prep/service, respectively. Expectations are clear and reasonable. Food was very good. The animals are very friendly with great personalities. Will miss this place, the hosts and the animals for sure

I absolutely loved my time in Söderbärke and highly recommend applying for this experience. During my stay here I helped to prepare and cook food, assist with DIY tasks and walk the cute dogs. Roswitha and Fridus are very kind and patient and I loved spending time with them and have learned heaps. The rural setting is beautiful, the accommodation is very comfortable and the food is superb. The other volunteers we met were very friendly and added to the overall inviting feel of the environment. I really didn't want to leave and hope to travel back again one day!

I had the best time spending two months with Fridus& Roswitha! When i started my volunteering the restaurant was still closed and we spent a lot of time with the dogs and helping roswitha in the atelier. After it opened, our work was more kitchen focused and a bit more stressful, but we still got to do some other tasks here and there. The stay is quite remote, so perfect if you love spending time outside and wanna go on long walks through the forest. Thank you so much for making my first worldpackers experience so unique!

I had such a fun time in Söderbärke! Loved the dogs as much as the amazing people I met there. When I first came the restaurant was not open so I could help with other tasks which was no problem, my last weekend the restaurant was opened which was stressful but so much fun! Thank you for letting me have this experience!

I had a great time staying with Roswitha and Fridus. I stayed with them while the restaurant was not open, so the main tasks were walking the dogs, helping around in the gallery and some work in the kitchen. The dogs are lovely. They love going on walks and getting attention and pets. Roswitha and Fridus were very welcoming and kind, and we had a dinner together everyday throughout my stay. I had an amazing experience and I w ppl und stay longer if I could.

I am so excited about my trip and my experience at the guest house! Roswitha and Feridus are so cute and I recommend everyone to have this experience, We would walk the dogs in nature, and we would cut wood for the fireplace. Also, we had free time. The volunteers I met were very friendly and had much fun together. Thanks to everyone for this experience. I hope to come back in the summer :)

I am so grateful for this experience! Roswitha and Fridus are such lovely people and very welcoming from the first moment. And also the other volunteers make it such a nice place to stay. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot of nature and the dogs are so cute. I was there in a season where the restaurant was closed. So the main tasks were walking the dogs, work in the kitchen and other small tasks. The work was never too hard or too much. I would definitely recommend this place. I had such an amazing time here and would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to spend lots of time in nature and love dogs. Roswitha and Fridus were so kind and welcoming and it felt like a home away from home! They also try and make sure there's at least one other volunteer there so you always have someone to work/spend your free time with which was amazing! The restaurant was closed while I was there so the main tasks were walking the dogs and other small tasks around the house. Overall such an amazing experience!
