I really enjoyed these 3 weeks with Ansari and Maria, the team at the school and of course with kids ! Being the only foreigner in the area, locals smiled at me and were very welcoming. It was a great local immersion experience. I ate many times with Ansari et Maria at their home, and I learned a lot from them about their culture and their religion. They took good care of me during my stay with them, always made sure I felt confortable. Teach to children was very easy and enriching because their learn by playing, I really enjoyed being with them ! Thank you for everything 🙏🏼

I had a great experience during my stay in Khuan Don. Ansari and Maria always made me feel welcome and they always made sure I was included in their activities. They cook delicious food and the kids are really sweet with willingness to learn English. If you want to live a really local experience and create good memories while helping their community this is the place for you. The people at the village are also very welcoming. I will miss my time here. If I am ever around the area I will go again for sure!! Thank you for everything 🤗

Mr. Ansari and Mrs. Maria are an outstanding host! They are committed, incredibly generous, and outgoing, making you feel right at home by giving you a private accommodation, allowance, and bike for comfort and to explore. Despite their insanely busy schedules they make time for you. This village is small and safe so they always invite you to join on adventures [if you're avaliable], Mrs. Maria always makes great lunches and Mr. Ansari grows beautiful crops that he shares. [10am-12] The toddler are awesome and eager to play [4:15pm-6] the Tweens are great, likes to goof around, and talk

Our time with Ansari, Maria, the staff and children of the school was incredible. The school has a holistic approach to learning. We taught from 8:30-10:30 each morning, speaking to the children in English. From 10:45-12 we went on an outside walk with breathtaking scenery and played with the children. Ansari is very tentative host and looked after us. The accommodation was great. Emily and I had an amazing time and it is an experience that we will always remember. If you have the opportunity to volunteer here I would recommend it.

I spent three wonderful weeks with Ansari and Maria. It was definitely the most beautiful and enriching experience I've had so far. Ansari and Maria were so welcoming, caring, and friendly, and took such good care of me during those three weeks. The team was also incredibly welcoming. Everyone was very kind. The children were amazing too. You're completely immersed in the culture, and they'll show you everything they can during your stay. I'll miss you, I'll be back! Thank you for everything. 🤍

The host Ansari and his wife are really kind and try their best to make you feel welcomed. In the end I really got the local and authentic experience I was looking for.

The school is the kind of place you go to thinking you'll stay for just a month, but end up wanting to stay longer. The school offers high-quality education, the children are very smart and easy to handle. You teach while also learning about early childhood education and the local culture. Ansari and Maria are wonderful hosts, they treat you like family and always care about your well-being and comfort. I hope this is not a goodbye, but a see you soon.

My time at the school was incredible! I planned to stay there for three weeks but ended up staying there for one month. It was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't be more grateful for Ansari, his family and everyone working at the school. They are incredibly kind and always make sure you have everything you need. They treat you like family and the communication works perfectly! Working with the kids at the school is also great and I got to explore new places too. I have grown so much during this experience and everything was perfect! I definitely want to come back!

My time at Ansari's and Maria's the school was unforgettable. The kids are amazing, loving, polite and curious about everything. They are very intellingent and make teaching easy and playing very fun. I felt really connected to people in the Khuan Don District, the hosts will make sure you are having the best time, eating the best food possible, trying different dishes, exploring the astonishing nature and mountains that surround the village and having a good relation with the kids.
