I absolutely loved my experience at this hostel. From the very first day, I felt truly welcomed and at home. The work itself is very easy and relaxed, and there's absolutely no pressure. The team is incredibly kind, supportive, and respectful. Everyone is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel comfortable all the time! The staff doesn't micromanage you, they trust you and are very flexible, which makes the whole experience even better. I was there during Christmas season, and it was simply magical. Volunteering at Lollishomestay was a beautiful experience! Volunteers, guests and staff are amazing. I've made lots of friends! The hostel has a cozy, friendly and relaxed environment, where everybody is willing to help each other out. Also, Martin and Julie are the best! They are nice, thoughtful and flexible. Best experience ever!

Had a great time, due to everyone working at the hostel and my fellow volunteers! We have a comfortable room to stay in and Juliane and Martin are really kind and helpful. Dresden is a great city to stay in, and we got to explore Neustadt while running the activities for the guests.

The hostel is a wonderful place to volunteer, the tasks are completely relaxing and reasonable for a work for accommodation situation, all that is asked is that you run cool events (different each night and a fair degree of control on how they are run) and when asked, assist with cleaning up breakfast and welcoming late check-ins. I would recommend the hostel in Heartbeat for anyone looking for an extended break, and Dresden is a vibrant, welcoming, and fun city. The staff team is kind and helpful, and provide a great atmosphere for the volunteers to get to know guests. Miss it already!

It was an amazing experience working with all the staffs at the hostel. People are welcoming, the guests are easygoing. Volunteers tasks are mainly event hosting every day except for Friday, grocery shopping and late check-ins time to time. Breakfast is free for volunteers. I really enjoyed my time in Dresden thanks to the hostel and I would definitely recommend it✨

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I honestly don't think anything else could beat it. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcomed, it felt like I was part of a family. The work never felt like a chore; it just felt like I was joining in on the fun and helping out with things I actually enjoyed. The whole vibe was relaxed, social, and super positive. It was extremely hard to leave and I hope to return as a guest in the future.

This was my first time volunteering at a hostel and I was excited but a little nervous. Everyone who works there is very welcoming and communicative and made it a great experience. The activities volunteers are responsible for give you so many opportunities to meet people and explore the city, as well as extra traveling to nearby areas, which I really appreciated. Dresden is a beautiful city and I grew to really love it. Honestly volunteering here was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and thank you so much to Juliane and Martin and the team for making the hostel a home away from home 💛

This was my second time as a volunteer at the hostel and honestly it was as good as the first time. Everyone welcomed me back with open arms and I had an amazing time with the staff, the other volunteers and the guests at the hostel.
