The hostel was such an amazing volunteer, I really enjoyed my time here. The volunteer works perfectly, the task are simple and always respect the hours, and you have a lot of free time during the week. Is fun to stay only there cause you meet a lot of people. The host is just amazing and all the reception team, they will care you have a good time and experience. THANKS A LOT ❤️❤️

Desde el principio me sentí como en casa. Los anfitriones siempre te apoyan hasta en el detalle más pequeño. Un ambiente laboral genial, una ciudad maravillosa y divertida (lo único malo es que todo lo cierran antes de las 3 am). Sin duda una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida.

I have chosen the hostel just because I knew how good the public transport is in this area and then I spent most of time in the hostel, I felt very comfortable and it was like home for me. The working hours are short and the work itself is very simple. The staff team is always there for anything you need (even if it is not something referent to the hostel). I have met amazing people and I am sure they care about the selection of volunteers so do not worry about your group. It was definitely the right choice to pic this place as my first experience, thank you for everything!!

I had such a amazing time in DBH. My initial plan it was stay for only 1 month and I ended up staying for almost 4 months. The work is really easy and fair. I can't think in better hosts than Chris and Hervé. Them and the others volunteers made my experience here unforgettable. I'll keep this place in my heart and I will definitely come back.

What a magnificent experience I had at this hostel! It was my first volunteering and everything went very well! Chris, Hervé and Virginie are lovely and always helpful, patient and willing to help. I was able to meet people from many different countries and make great friendships that I want to keep for many years. Ill be extremely grateful to each one because it was the most beautiful experience I had in my life. I hope to return to the hostel very soon. With love, Bella.

The hostel is a great place, this was my first volunteer experience and it was amazing. The work itself it's not hard and you will have a lot of free time to spare. The hostel is right in the city Center and it has great connections with other cities in Scotland. All the staff is really nice and is willing to help you. I had a fantastic time and it gave me the opportunity to meet another volunteers that are now my friends. Thank you for everything Chris, Virginie and Herve.

My experience at the hostel was great. There is lots of daily tasks and so it's best when there is lots of volunteers so we can all work together to finish. We always finish early (around 12:30-1). Chris is a great host and is super accommodating with days off. I highly recommend taking the bus to other destinations instead of train to save $, the hostel has so many amenities available to volunteers like games and places to have privacy. My favorite part was the Wii so I could improve my Mario kart skills on my days off ;) thanks Chris! I would definitely come back again.

The hostel is an AMAZING place to stay in! Everybody was really nice to me from start to finish. Also, Chris is a very kind and friendly person, so you'll feel at home right away. the hostel has buses/trains to all cities in Scotland, so you'll definitely have the time to visit and travel around. The shifts are not too difficult, and there are plenty of things to do like playing cards, pool or nice chats with the rest of the volunteers. Hope to see you again in the future!

The host was very kind and understanding when i had a family emergency and had to leave on my first day there. I didn't even start a shift there so I can't comment first hand on the tasks involved but the other volunteers told me it was very fair. The host and the other volunteers at the hostel were very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend to others.

The hostel was the first place I called home outside of Brazil. All the nights I spent there were very peaceful. The established rules are strictly complied with and this makes the environment harmonious in general, both in coexistence and at work. I consider myself very lucky to have found this very special place in downtown the hostel. Chris is a very friendly, fun and kind-hearted person, he is receptive to volunteers from the first to the last day. A place that I definitely want to apply again and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get know Scotland!
