Détails du programme

Volunteers staying at the homestay or retreat are expected to actively contribute to the daily functioning and upkeep of the property. This role requires responsibility, honesty, and consistent effort.
1. Work Schedule
Volunteers must work 5–6 hours daily, 6 days a week.
One day off per week is allowed.
Work hours may be adjusted based on daily needs, events, or guest flow.
2. Areas of Responsibility
Volunteers may be assigned to one or more of the following areas, depending on need:
a) Housekeeping
Keeping guest rooms neat, clean, and hygienic at all times.
Cleaning beds, floors, bathrooms, balconies, and common areas.
Changing linens, arranging rooms properly, and ensuring rooms are ready before guest check-in.
Maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces such as halls, kitchens, and sitting areas.
b) Gardening & Outdoor Maintenance
Watering plants, maintaining gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces.
Cleaning pathways, outdoor seating areas, and surroundings.
Supporting basic landscaping or garden decoration where required.
c) Property Management & Daily Chores
Assisting with daily property-related tasks as assigned by the host.
Helping with setting up spaces for guests, workshops, or activities.
Supporting smooth day-to-day operations of the homestay or retreat.
Taking care of cleanliness, order, and basic maintenance needs.
3. Cleanliness & Standards
Rooms and common areas must always be clean, organized, and welcoming.
Volunteers are expected to maintain basic hospitality standards, keeping guest comfort as a priority.
Any damage, missing items, or issues must be reported immediately to the host.
4. Creativity & Decoration
Volunteers are welcome to use their own ideas to decorate rooms or spaces, as long as:
The decoration is neat, tasteful, and appropriate for guests.

Règles

All volunteers must strictly follow the rules below while staying on the property:
No illegal activities are allowed on the property. This includes drugs, smoking, alcohol consumption, or any unlawful behavior.
Respectful behavior is mandatory. Any form of misconduct, disturbance, or misbehavior toward guests, staff, or others will not be tolerated.
Work commitment:
Volunteers must work 5 hours per day, 6 days a week.
One day off is allowed per week.
Daily results are required.
Volunteers must show visible progress or outcomes from their work each day.
If there is no observable outcome for 2–3 consecutive days, and the volunteer is delaying or not actively working, the host has the full right to ask the volunteer to leave the property.
This decision is final and cannot be denied or disputed.
Pool usage:
Volunteers may use the pool only when guests are not using it.
Leaving the property / traveling:
If a volunteer plans to go out of station, they must inform the host in advance.
If leaving for an extended period, the volunteer must check out from the property first.
Failure to follow any of these rules may result in immediate termination of the volunteer stay.
