The volunteer experience at the hostel was a blessing. Volunteers are provided with a good place to sleep, a nice work environment and also lot's of opportunities to go visit Rio and it's night life. An aspect that I appreciated a lot was the honest and respectful work commitment that Gasper the manager offers to the volunteers. I worked 6 weeks at the reception and all in one it was a funny but very chill job (kisses go out to Paloma and Ale ;)) Thank you for this enriching experience!

It has been the best volunteering experience I have had so far! The location and working hours (every other day) is perfect for exploring the city to the fullest, and they really give you what they offer on their Worldpackers profile!

My experience in this hostel was truly incredible. The people that work there, as well as the volunteers, quickly became like my second family, always joking around and in a good mood. The tasks really didn't feel like working as you are always enjoying the good vibe and surrounded by people with a beautiful energy. The tasks are very simple and you have plenty of time to explore the city and enjoy all the free tours and parties the hostel has to offer, not to mention that you are literally blocks from the beach. I would 100% recommend the hostel 🤍

Dizem que a gente sempre volta aos lugares onde foi feliz... e aqui voltei! Agradeço cada café da manhã, conversa, festa, caminhada, risada, anedota que vivenciei com os voluntários, trabalhadores e convidados 💙 Todos expressam seu carinho de alguma forma... principalmente com brincadeiras hahahaha Vou sentir saudades do: "Bom dia linda!" "Melany voce e malandra" "tá aberto!" voce nao parou de comer chocolate?" ou um abraço caloroso da Monica, o canto do Marcelo de manha kkkk e muito mais! o hostel vocês são gente boa! Muita gratidão ♥️

Fue una de las mejores experiencias en mi vida! Las palabras no me alcanzan para expresar lo agradecido que estoy con el staff del hostal y el equipo de voluntariados que creamos una gran relación dando cada uno un aporte a la amistad, aprendizaje y diversión. Ahí no vas a trabajar vas a divertirte mientras ayudas al hostal. Los huéspedes se iban más que felices por qué pasábamos tiempo con ellos. Muchas gracias a Gaspar por darme la oportunidad de ser mi primer voluntariado. Hacia mi trabajo con tantas ganas y emoción que en mi turno de barman siempre era felicidad y diversión. Gracias x todo

En el hostel fue mi primer voluntariado y ha sido excelente mi estadía mejor de lo que esperaba , las tareas súper sencillas y respetando el horario , muy buena ubicación y la terraza tiene una vista hermosa … Si buscas hacer un voluntariado no dudes en este hostel la gente que trabaja aquí es un amor totalmente recomendable!!! My time at the Copacabana hostel was a really great experience. Gaspar and the staff are amazing and very friendly. The tasks are not too difficult and it is a really great opportunity to meet people from all over the world. The shifts were one day on one day off which gives you plenty of time to travel around and see Rio de Janeiro. I highly recommend volunteering here.

Ones of the reasons that made me fall in love with Rio de Janeiro and want to stay 2 months longer, was the hostel staff. They are incredibly friendly and kind, always in a good mood, the best vibes. They respected my autonomy and gave me freedom to create content as planned. The communication and support from them was outstanding, even when I got in trouble they helped me out as you can't imagine. I couldn't be more grateful to them. It's not just a nice place with good amenities and everything you may need. It's a place where volunteering is %110 worthy. ✌️
