I spent 3 weeks and loved my time at Kadampa. The temple is beautiful and the setting is very peaceful. Thank you to everyone involved but a special thank you to Marta for always being there for any problems or questions. The vibe is great, everyone I met were so nice and I'm not vegetarian but the food is delicious. The work was always fair as well. I made friends for life and look forward to seeing everyone again. Thanks so much, I highly recommend this place.

Esta fue mi segunda vez en Kadampa Málaga y quizás haya una tercera. Excelente lugar para aprender del budismo y la comunidad, especialmente si hay retiros o clases de meditaciones en el centro. Esta motivación mejora la experiencia ya que las tareas y horarios pueden ser intensos. Estaría bueno tener más descanso y que el primer día que se llega no se considere como día libre, es importante el descanso también.

I had the most wonderful experience at the community—it exceeded all my expectations. I met amazing people who made me feel truly welcome from the very beginning. The environment is incredibly peaceful, and the sessions are extremely helpful for personal development. The daily tasks are simple and well organized, and the food is both delicious and abundant. Meeting other volunteers and residents was the most valuable part of my experience. A big thank you to Martha, Camila, and Yurlen. I left with my heart full of joy and memories that will stay with me forever.

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa que siempre guardaré en mi corazón. Gracias a la comunidad por acogerme y por todas las enseñanzas que me han impartido. Llegué al centro sin saber prácticamente nada sobre el budismo y me fui con una mente más abierta y una mejor comprensión de mí mismo y de los demás. El tiempo que pasé con la gente de la comunidad y los demás voluntarios ha sido increíble, la cantidad de trabajo era razonable y la comida era sorprendentemente buena (incluso para alguien que no es vegetariano como yo). Recomiendo totalmente este intercambio! :)

It has been a wonderful and incredibly deep experience at the Kadampa temple in Malaga. Everyone welcomed me in such a sweet way, and I was also lucky enough to be at the temple the same days that a special event about how to control your mind was taking place. I've learnt so so much and met fantastic people, I'd love to go back

Fue mi segunda vez en el templo y otra vez me encantò muchisimo y aprendì un monton! Realmente puedo decir que la comunidad ha cambiado algo en vida por lo mejor! Me gusta el horario del trabajo, la gente siempre esta muy amable y tienen paciencia con mi espanol (porque estoy aprendiendo). Por eso podria mejorar mi espanol sin vergüenza! Creo que el templo es un lugar para cada persona que quiere encontrar un poco mas su paz interior, conectar con la calma y con personas con almas muy bonitas. Espero que me vuelvo poronto a la comunidad otra vez😊♥️

Mi primer voluntariado después de Barcelona Encantada con Kadampa,su gente,todo hermoso. Muy respetuosos y cálidos. Volveria a hacerlo sin duda!Gracias a Yurlen y Marta por estos días de mucho aprendizaje y el amor que le ponen a todo lo que hacen. Encantada de conocerlas. Un abrazo!!!😊❤️❤️

I had a wonderful week at the Kadampa Buddhist center. They welcome you very warmly, and I felt right at home. Even though I eat meat, the food was really good. The place is clean, the people are kind, the kitchen is well equipped, and the rooms are excellent. The tasks to be done are not difficult. I had a wonderful week, thanks also to the volunteers with whom we shared unique experiences. Yurlen is very kind and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the shifts basically take up the whole day.
