Without a question the hostel goes in my top 3 of best places I've volunteered ♥️ Silver and the staff are very nice, kind and warm. The shifts were easy going and the tasks very light as well. The staff was always supporting our ideas and even joining them 😊 In our days off we could go to do some trekking around, which they also helped us to organise (transportation, accommodation, etc) I'm really gonna miss this place, and I hope to come back next year 😊

Catalina is wonderful, the short time she stayed with us she was very kind, friendly, always willing to help in any way she could, unfortunately although she came to help out as a yoga teacher due to bad weather and many rainy days, we had allot of cancellations at that time from guests in the hostel so she ended up staying less time time than she was supposed to with us as we already had two other yoga teachers and not enough Yoga guests. We highly recommend her and we would love to have her again here given the opportunity in the summer time. Safe travels &Thank you for joining us
Apenas llegamos nos presentamos a la manager y su respuesta fue "más voluntarios? No sé qué vienen a hacer acá, no hay huéspedes y es probable que cerremos en 10 días" (nosotros íbamos por un mes). En la cena se acercó Magda para presentarse y nos dice que sólo nos puede tener una semana, porque por las malas condiciones climáticas habían muchas cancelaciones. La comunicación entre quienes están a cargo es malisima. Sentí que esperaban que adivinarmos lo que esperaban de nosotros y se molestaban con facilidad. No di clases de yoga, q era a lo que iba. En cambio coseche uvas y limpie la terraza

Wow - if I could give more stars I would! Cata is AMAZING - full of energy, very active in the community, AND totally professional and responsible. Not many like her. Really happy that she will spend time close by in Berlin. Looking forward to her visits to our project near-by.
Sin duda uno de los mejores voluntariados que he hecho. La comunidad es tremenda, todos muy amables, respetuosos y colaborativos. Las instalaciones super guay, muy cómodas. Aunque la comunidad está un poco alejado de todo siempre hay cosas entretenidas que hacer alrededor. Ideal para quien quiera desconectarse de la ciudad. El trabajo de Community Manager está bien, no es pesado para nada, y contrastado al genial ambiente y todo lo que obtienes a cambio es más que justo. Es de los lugares que definitivamente sentí como hogar <3

Hola! Soy Catalina, y una de las grandes pasiones en mi vida es viajar: viajo para conocer lugares, culturas y vivir nuevas experiencias. Creo que es importante hacer que cada día cuente, ya que la inmortalidad es algo que no tenemos asegurado. No creo en las nacionalidades ni en las fronteras: pienso que somos todos ciudadanos del mundo, y que importa más quién eres que de dónde vienes. Siempre he viajado con mi familia y entonces desarrollé este amor por viajar; a los 16 años hice mi primer viaje sola a Australia como un intercambio estudiantil. A los 23 años me fuí a vivir un semestre a Perú por una pasantía de la universidad y a los 25 años me gradué, cogí mi mochila y mis ahorros y partí a recorrer Europa y un poco de África, misión en la que aún estoy :) Si quieres saber más o tienes inquietudes pues aquí estoy para ayudarte !

I started working helping my family in the farm when I was 12. I've worked with them every summer since then until I moved to Berlin two years ago. Outer than that I've work as waitress, receptionist, yoga instructor, English teacher and also cleaning.
I was also an AFS volunteer for 5 years (had to quit because I moved out the country).
I've been in twelve countries and counting :) Mostly volunteering
Love getting to know new cultures and the outdoor life <3
