Lalaland was a great experience! The accommodation is a private room, super comfortable, and you will share the house with the hosts, Lara and Amee. They have two amazing kids (Maria is the sweetest girl ever <3) and we had a great time cooking and sharing experiences with them and the other guests. The work is chill, they provide one meal (Lara is a great cook), and the guesthouse is surrounded by the mountains of Chiang Dao. You will need your own way to get around (bike, scooter) because transportation apps don't work, and it's a bit far to walk everywhere. Definitely recommend it!

It was an amazing stay with Lara and Amee! The kids are looooooovely, we love and miss them so much! The house is super comfortable, the hosts are chill, and the work is fair. We might have been too involved with the kids most of the time, but it's impossible not to! They are super sweet! You can easily coordinate the work schedule with Lara; just let them know if you have any plans for a short trip, touring or something. You may need a scooter to better enjoy the surroundings! I definitely recommend staying with them! And can't wait to visit again!

Lalaland is truly a special place! The homestay is tucked beneath Doi Luang Chiang Dao mountain & the property has 360 views of beautiful nature: rice fields, flowers, mountains on the horizon. Lara & Amee are such wonderful hosts! They immediately make you feel like you are part of the family. The volunteer work was flexible & manageable, but still fulfilling! Most of my duties included cleaning guest rooms, housekeeping in the main house, & gardening. In our spare time we visited the nearby villages, markets, & explored nature! It is an experience I am so grateful for. Thank you Lalaland! <3

My time at Lalaland was really lovely! Lara is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and truely made my experience! They have two gorgeous little kids who are both so cute and sweet. The area has great views and lots of places to walk around and explore. If you are wanting to stay somewhere nice and welcoming near the mountains then I highly recommend!

Volunteering at Lalaland was truly an unfogottable experience. It was wonderful to reconnect with nature and help out with different tasks. The host made us feel welcome and really went out of their way to show us around chiang dao. The tasks were easy and manageable. I recommend this place if you want to work in a peaceful environment.

Volunteering at LaLaLand was a great experience! Lara and Amee were both lovely and took us to see beautiful places. The job was quite easy, I would recommend the place if you are looking to enjoy nature and stay in a more peaceful environment! 🫶
