Our stay here was amazing, the staff is so friendly and we got to learn about Germany. For the first weeks there was only the two of us so we were a bit bored, but when other volunteers arrived it was so fun. The only negative thing is that there's no dinner (except when there are groups but it happens once or twice a month). The breakfast was so great and we had a really great time, it is well located, could definitely come back!

Excellent place to live this experience, the staff is very nice and help you in everything. There were 2 other volunteers when we arrived and we had different shifts, we were mostly helping in the bar and with the cleaning protocols, it is a big the hostel the train and bus station is right in front of it. Thank you very much the hostel this was a wonderful experience.

The hostel provided great accommodations and a fun team. There was not dinner every night as was promised, and there was often a lack of clarity as to tasks and training but everyone was kind, the work was fun, and we had a great time working with everyone and exploring Leipzig.

My experience volunteering at the hostel has been great! I've enjoyed it a lot. The tasks weren't difficult and the hours worked were very respected. They even take into account if you would like certain free days or to get them in a row, which was something I was really grateful for. The only thing that might have not been the best experience is that a part of the staff weren't that nice toward volunteers. But aside from that, an overall nice experience

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Tasks and hours were fair - a mix of bartending and cleaning, as expected. The room was comfy and the bathrooms clean. The guest kitchen was sometimes quite dirty though. The team kindly allowed the Worldpackers to join in for their open bar drinks after their team meeting, and all reception staff were lovely and more than happy to help you! The main issues were a lack of formal training for the bar shifts - you were expected to ask for help as you went. Also, dinner was only provided 3 or 4 times over the month which affected budgeting.
