Programa detallado

Our program is designed to keep the hostel running with a great social atmosphere while giving volunteers plenty of freedom to enjoy island life. The daily routine can change depending on the activities, events, and how busy the hostel is. Some days are more relaxed, some days more social — but the main goal is always the same: to help create a fun, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and free to be themselves.

We really value creativity and teamwork. If you have new ideas for games, events, music, or ways to improve the vibe, we’re always happy to hear them and try them together. The atmosphere here is open-minded and flexible — we want volunteers to feel like they’re part of the Kohmunity, not just following strict tasks.

It’s a place where you can connect with guests, enjoy the island, learn from others, help shape the hostel’s energy, and have an unforgettable experience along the way.

Actividades & Turnos

Volunteers help for 5 hours per day and have 2 days off each week. The schedule can vary depending on the vibe of the day, but the work is simple and focused on being around people, supporting the atmosphere, and helping the hostel run smoothly.

Activities include chatting with guests, helping with events, keeping the common areas tidy during your shift, supporting the reception area when needed, and joining social activities like games, dinners or pool hangouts. Some volunteers also help with music or yoga if they want.

We prepare the weekly schedule every Sunday, so you’ll always know your shifts in advance. This makes it easy to plan your free time — beach days, exploring the island, sunsets, parties, yoga, whatever you like.

The shifts are relaxed and flexible, the main goal is to bring good energy, be present in the social areas, and help create a friendly environment for everyone.
