I had an incredible experience at the Center—so much so that I ended up extending my stay. The location is absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is truly special. I've met some of the most amazing people here, forming connections I'll never forget. The tasks were straightforward and enjoyable, making it easy to immerse myself in the surroundings. I genuinely can't recommend this place enough.

It's simply a wonderful place in the middle of nowhere. You will get to stay with all the animals, go on beautiful hikes and enjoy delicious food. If you need some time off from the hustle of life take a break here!! The work is also very easy. Just note two things: the house can get very cold when it's not summer. Sometimes it was below 20C and we were freezing inside. The second thing is that there is two man living in that house also apart from Steve and the volunteers. That lead to very weird situations here and there and also effected the cleanness and the atmosphere from time to time.

The casa has taught me how to co exist with people in these magical mountains. Being here has showed me what it means to truly live how we are meant to and that there are so many different paths that one can pursue. Speaking with many different people following the path that they feel is right for them is truly motivating. Found a love for trailing the paths of benali with a couple dogs and a new dynamic every hike. I'm forever thankful for all the wonderful people I've met and all that I have learned from the best (aka Steve and Saph). <3

Being in the Center was a great experience, you can meet a lot of different people from all around the world, it's a quiet place where you can learn about others and yourself, the hosts are so communicatives, I really recommend this experience :)

I instantly felt at home at the Center. Steve and Saph are such genuinely lovely, funny people who welcome volunteers like they're family. They both care so much about the volunteers and making sure we have the best time. I spent an unforgettable 2 weeks hiking, cooking (the food was amazing!!), swimming, baking, and laughing with an amazing group of volunteers. Honestly never a dull moment. I learnt so much about living sustainability and enjoying the simplicity of life. I can't recommend this project enough, 10/10 experience. My only regret is not staying longer. I'll be back!!

I had two really amazing weeks at the Center, from the moment I arrived I felt instantly welcomed and at ease by the lovely people here. I've always loved to be outdoors etc but Steve's place really made me aware of how I can live more sustainably by cooking from scratch, growing produce, saving water and more. Aside from the things I've learnt It was also just a super fun time, there was so much cool nature to explore and I especially loved the pool and waterfalls! Steve and Saph are such lovely kind people who are always wanting to make your time as cool as possible!

Staying at the Center on Mount Benali was incredible. Nestled in the heart of Valencia's breathtaking countryside, this eco-community is the perfect place for travelers looking to connect with nature. Time moves differently there. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by our passionate host Steve and the small but vibrant community of like-minded travelers. The work was rewarding, whether helping maintain the land or simply keeping the fire alive. the Center is the perfect setting to free your mind and escape the city

Steve provided me with an unforgettable WorldPackers experience. Even before I arrived, he gave me clear instructions on how to reach the property without issues and offered to help in any way he could. He managed to create an atmosphere that made me feel at home the moment I walked through those doors. This experience teaches you about sustainable living, farming, interacting with animals, cooking, and more while creating a convivial and fulfilling atmosphere like nothing I have experienced before. Highly recommend!

Such a supportive environment, as long as you follow the basic responsibilities of living in a house you can mostly do what you want and you will meet amazing and like-minded people!

Time in the Center was just like holidays in paradise. I can't recommend this place more for those, who seek connection with very different people. There was enough space to enjoy interactions with people, nature and to connect with yourself. I loved the community spirit. It was very inspiring
