Honestly, I don't know where to start. I was so lucky to end up in this place. And even luckier with the people 🥹 Brett is incredibly kind and caring, always ready to help. I will miss our evening chats with Oli and Nadine so much. I will miss Praw, who looks and sings like a goddess. Andrej may seem super serious, but deep down he's a kind soul. All the local staff, in the kitchen, garden are amazing and warm people 💗 Maria and Mia thanks for the sweet nickname u gave me. If you want to volunteer here, pls come with good intentions and an open heart ♥️ the hostel truly deserves only good people

I had the most meaningful unforgettable experience here at banana the hostel! Everything exceeded my expectations above and beyond! You'll create beautiful relationships with the staff and the people who come through the hostel and I'm genuinely sad to leave!! I can't recommend this volunteer opportunity enough and I will miss everyone dearly :( The work is very very reasonable and the hostel is extremely generous, you leave having an experience of a lifetime and so many memories to look back on!!! Thank you the hostel, Brett, Praw, Andrej, Ollie, and the wonderful staff behind the scenes!

Volunteering at the hostel was more than i could ever asked for! Everything was incredible from the first to the last day. Brett, Andrej, Praw and Ollie are more than just host; They were my family here in a genuine and true way because they did everything to make me feel at home and happy. The activities are amazing and the work really fair and well explained. I really don't have words to describe how amazing this experience was, I was not ready for such generosity and kindness from everyone. I wish you all the best and hope to see you again and return “home” soon.

I had the most amazing time volunteering at the hostel. The staff are amazing and so welcoming and made me feel right at home during my stay. The accommodations are nice and the food is great. You work a 5 hour shift every day and rotate with 2 other volunteers, and when you're not working, there's plenty of time to explore or hang out with the guests at events. The hostel is a bit secluded, but there's lots of things to do in the area. If you don't like animals/aren't comfortable being up close with nature, this experience may not be for you. I hope to be back soon. Sending love from the USA!
