Roger and Laura are two of the most kindhearted people I've known. During my stay with them they have made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Laura is a wonderful woman with such a warm heart and an inspiring view of the world. Roger is a real adventurer who made sure I got to connect with Ubatuba every single day of my stay in every single level, physically, emotionally and spiritually and for that I'm so grateful. They've granted me a space in their hearts to be vulnerable while also feeling safe and seen. I appreciate every single moment, exchange, smile shared. Thank you for having me🫶🏻

My experience with Roger and Laura was simply amazing, not just for how they welcomed me, but also for the way they made me feel safe and at home at any time. They are very the home and they communicated and cared for me both before, during and after this experience. One of the things I was expecting the most were the beautiful beaches, hikes and waterfalls, which they were so enthusiastic to show. But there was also a pleasant surprise: their perspective of self-knowledge, as they offered me their pleasurable 4-hand massage and insightful Rune reading, two magical and touching experiences✨

I had an incredible time in Ubatuba - Roger and Laura were not only my hosts, they also became friends. They invited me to join their life in every part, we had inspiring talks, bike rides and beach days together and i really feel like we built a connection. My “tasks” were to practice English with Laura and to model for Roger's photography! Didn't feel like work though as this is definitely not a typical project! The rune reading was also one of the most interesting emotional experiences I've made and I encourage everyone to get out of their comfort zone and give it a chance! Thank you!😊🫶

Meeting Roger and going hiking into the river truly was a life changing experience. He will make you comfortable and heard, supported and also loves a good laugh! He offered me the rune reading experience, which deeply helped me figuring out a lot of issues i was going through at that very moment. He has been reading runes for more than 10 years, thus is very fluid and intuitive while doing it, which will make you comfortable being genuine and connect to yourself. Climbing the itamambuca river was a beautiful activity for it really connected our bodies to their roots and ancestral origins.

I had an amazing time with Roger and Laura! They are experienced volunteers themselves, knowing how to make your stay truly special. I felt at home right away and could easily be myself with them. We shared hours-long conversations losing track of time and I cannot even describe the beauty of nature I got to see in Ubatuba. Roger being an amazing photographer, gave me an absolute confidence boost too with the shots he took during our hikes. Of course, there is work too. It isn't hard and I was never left alone. I am so grateful for this amazing time with these two beautiful caring souls! 🌸

We're so happy that you got to be our model, girl! And as you said it yourself, although you were concerned at first because of your insecurities, you were surprised and impressed when you saw the shots. You realized that your only job was to be and enjoy yourself, without even thinking about the camera. In the end, you could see yourself from a completely different perspective! In other words, we managed to reveal your beauty and it was a complete self-confidence boost as you so well put it!

É a segunda vez que voluntario aqui e dessa vez fiz uma coisa muito diferente pra mim, participando das criações de fotos e vídeos como modelo. E mesmo eu sendo uma pessoa mais tímida, o Roger fez eu me sentir super a vontade e tudo foi muito natural e divertido, os momentos gravados foram todos muito espontâneos, durante trilhas, idas a praia, etc. Foi incrível pois além de ter sido um trabalho muito divertido de se fazer, eu voltei pra casa com muitas fotos lindas desses momentos especiais em Ubatuba e me sentindo muito mais confiante comigo mesma também. Espero poder retornar em breve 💛

As you said it yourself, we hike with volunteers to untouched places in nature, where we can certainly reconnect with nature and our true nature. 🌿🌺 As part of this experience, we invite whoever is with us to be our model in photoshoots and videos, a beautiful way to improve our self-esteem and heal our distorted view of ourselves, revealing the beauty of our being. And I believe that our beauty always appears when we simply show who we are to the camera, that's it! ❤️🎬😍

It was a pleasure to share these few days with Laura and Roger. They were absolute sweethearts and they absolutely understand the volunteering experience. Furthermore Roger took of his time to show me some really nice spots of Ubatuba. They also shared with me their experience of massage and runes reading which I really appreciated.
