I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel! the hostel itself is clean & the staff was always there for me, esp. Anj, Kat, Ellie & Sofia :) the hostel's location was convenient as it is close to many different sites. Despite the volunteer room being small, there are a lot of spaces around the hostel that you can venture off to. Management takes what they do very seriously so as long as you are present & willing to help out, you will do well! When I arrived, there weren't any guests in the hostel so there wasn't much to do, but it did pick up eventually! I am glad to have been welcomed here! Thx

I had a great time at the hostel! The team is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel at home from day one; Ellie, Camilo, Miguel, Kat, Edo, Anj, Yogish, and Demin, I take wonderful memories from each one of you. The tasks are simple and easy to manage, the hostel has great common areas to enjoy, and the location is perfect for exploring Prague. Even though January is low season for tourism, I still had an amazing time. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a warm and friendly place to volunteer!

The whole experience at the hostel was fantastic! I feel so lucky I was part-time of this project during Christmas season. I will definitely come back. Also, thank you to all the other volunteers, team and management. I am greatful I got to meet you. I leave with only one "bad thing"... which is the fact that time is up! I really valued my experience at the hostel! I met wonderful people; volunteers, staff, and travelers that I will remember and engage with forever. The location of the hostel was amazing, parks, mall, and the old town very close by. Once you understood what was required on shifts they were easy and engaging with the guests on weekend evening shifts was very fun. The only slight drawback was the volunteer accommodation was very small and hot, however I know they are working to change that which is great! Overall, this experience was truly amazing, I love Prague, and the hostel :)

The hostel is a very large and spacious hostel, so naturally it is not very social. They give you a simple task list, but expect way more from you - and nothing is ever enough. They want you to “find things to do”. Sorry, they should create a task list and make sure it's agreed beforehand. I would not recommend volunteering here, I was unhappy with my stay more often than not. When I left, it was a weight off my shoulders. To be fair, the room was decent and provided plenty of storage which I was grateful for.

Hi Kirk, we understand you had bad experience, same as we did with you. But we want to point out that we sent you before arrival 'Volunteer instructions and agreement' file which includes volunteer tasks and rules. The same file was printed and given to you to read and sign once you arrived.

I had a great month at the hostel!! Everyone was so welcoming and made me feel right at home- special shoutout to Anj, Kat, and Ellie❤️ I was there during low season so there wasn't a ton to do in terms of work, but the hostel is in a really great location, the kitchen and common spaces are clean and well stocked, and there's plenty of free time to explore Prague! It was a quieter hostel during my time which I appreciated!

It was my third time volunteering here but this time was a very different experience. Mainly because it was winter (low season) so there were no guests to hang out with, and because of that, not much to do. The whole Worldpackers experience is made by the PEOPLE, the moments you share and the friends you make, so that's why, without people this experience was not the best. Ellie is a nice host, but I think she should be more involved with the volunteers and the coliving situation and not only the hostel tasks.

I was here for 1 full month. Best decision I've made. The facilities are cozy and you really feel like home. The location is GREAT. Everything was walkable, add on to that the fact that the staff is friendly and amazing, you've got the perfect place.

It was an amazing experience! All the hostel staff made me feel comfortable at all times! The activities and tasks were always very clear and everything promised was fulfilled! As for the amenities of the place the truth very good, spacious and equipped kitchen, common areas to spend time and excellent location! It is ideal to get to know Prague well and socialize with people from all over the world! I will miss you!

The atmosphere you can breathe in the hostel is really homely. I felt really welcome by both Ellie and all the staff working in the reception. We became friends with the rest of the volunteers and we didn't miss an opportunity for going out. The place is really cozy with lots of rooms to chill out, the rooftop is wonderful. The tasks you have to perform are really very simple, you don't really feel like you're working, you just have to be nice to the guests and plan activities so that everyone has fun as a group. They don't provide food but it's fine for the little they ask in return.
