This experience was absolutely amazing! the host Roi is super chilled and a great boss. it's really nice seeing him actually putting in the work and always being a great leader. while i was in nasca i meet some incredible people had some good food and a great time! couldn't recommend more, see you soon the hostel 🫶

We stayed here for two weeks and overall had a good time, there were just some things that didn't feel quite right during our stay. We felt very welcomed by all the other volunteers there, but not so much by the hosts. They have very specific visions in their heads of what they want the paintings to be and as much as they “try” to be open to collaboration, they seem to actually be much more narrow minded. I had spent so much time and effort into a painting that I loved and when I finished, they did not say a single word to me. We were never sure if they liked us. Besides that it was good.

Danella, me gustó tu cuadro, tus pinturas, fue por eso que decidi darte libertad, capaz y fue mal entendido con abandono, sobre mi opinión sobre tu trabajo, no me siento habilitado de aprobar o desaprobar, tampoco me gusta la idea de tener que dar una opinión como simbolo de aprobación, para mi lo unico que interesa es que tu hayas sido contenta con tu trabajo.

My girlfriend and I came in as painters for two weeks, not knowing what to expect at all. We arrived at 10 pm and were welcomed by other volunteers. When the host showed up the next afternoon, we still didn't get any instruction and got a weird vibe from him, like he really didn't want us there. This continued throughout the stay, leaving us many times not knowing what to do and feeling very unwelcome by Roi. He communicated almost nothing and made it seem like he hated only us. Despite this, I very much enjoyed the process of painting and the hostel itself was great!

Iven, nos faltó tiempo para conocernos, me costó darte tiempo porque fue una semana muy ocupada, 4 muralistas al mismo tiempo, gestionar el hostel, otros proyectos externos y vida familiar, realmente doy toda mi atencion a quien vibra igual que yo en el momento y tuvimos un inicio poco comun que me afectó, debido a que no mencionaste que no tenias experiencia y ningun tipo de pintura o portfolio que mostrar, cuando te fue requerido ustedes pasaron el portfolio solo de tu novia, omitiendo la informacion de que no eran pinturas de tu autoria. Aun asi decidimos apostar en ti brindandote una columna a pintar, trabajo que nos encantó, sobretodo por tu dedicación.

Essa foi o meu primeiro voluntariado e eu tive uma experiência incrível no hostel o hostel! Roy é uma pessoa muito amável, divertida y buena onda, me senti muito bem vinda por ele! Todos trabalham de uma forma muito independente e é muito fácil aprender, só fazer as tarefas diárias com responsabilidade e todos ficam felizes e tranquilos :) eu fui embora com o coração partido, querendo ficar mais tempo, porque me conectei muito com o lugar, com as paisagens, com Roy e a equipe de voluntários! São como minha primeira família no Perú, guardo tudo e todos com muito carinho no meu coração ❤️

É provavel que todos que passem por lá fiquem (mais) nascallentes. O espaço do hostel é muito confortável, principalmente o terraço: ótimo para aproveitar o calor do dia e melhor ainda o frio da noite com pisco e salsa. A dinâmica e o clima do hostel proporciona buenissimos momentos de trocas e convivência. As tarefas são tranquilas e bem divididas entre os voluntários. Roy está sempre atento em como as coisas vão e se algo precisa melhorar. Foi genial poder criar laços com Nasca, com o hostel, os voluntários, e Roy. Muito calor e histórias para lembrar. Gracias por tudo e tupananchiskama!

O hostel foi um dos melhores espaços que tive até hoje. O anfitrião e os demais voluntários são muito tranquilos e respeitosos, aqui me senti em casa :)

Pretty dangerous because you may not wanna leave! Roy made me feel welcomed even before I arrived, communication was good from the beginning, everything really clear in terms of schedules, responsibilities and benefits. Volunteer dorm is quite nice, kitchen is well equipped. Tours and activities are accesible for us.

I had such an amazing time at the hostel and met a lot of great people. The hostel is very close to the city center and there are a lot of things to do in the area. The other volunteers were really nice and to meet so many different travellers from all over the world was a really good experience. Roy is a very understanding, open minded and fun guy and the best host I have ever met while volunteering. I would definitely go there again and recommend this place to everyone!

O hostel foi uma experiência muito especial! A princípio me senti bem deslocada/perdida, assim como em todas as experiências novas que me enfio, mas após algum tempo acabei me adaptando e tendo uma experiência que vou levar com carinho pro resto da vida. Tive não só a oportunidade de aprender coisas novas ou praticar mais o que já sabia, mas de me conectar com outras pessoas, o que é o mais importante pra mim. Agradeço muito pela oportunidade e crescimento que tive nesse voluntariado 💙
