Programa detallado

We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Worldpackers to join our conservation and environmental education efforts in and around Tanjung Puting National Park. Your tasks will vary based on our current needs but may include tree planting, collecting seeds, weeding, watering, and composting. You may also assist in our nursery, help collect food for our cattle, or even teach English to our staff. We also encourage you to participate in building projects as needed. Please be aware that volunteers do not handle orangutans, but we can help organize a tour to a rehabilitation center where you can see semi-wild orangutans. The work can be physically demanding, but it's an incredible opportunity to help protect one of the world's most critical ecosystems.

Actividades & Turnos

Your activities will be based on our current needs and the season. The work is physical and demanding, but you will have a wide range of tasks related to reforestation and environmental education. A typical shift is in the morning, leaving you with free time in the afternoons to enjoy the area.
