Programa detallado
We are self-sustaining permaculture community and movement located on a 150,000 m² plot of rugged, mountainous land in southern Spain.
The project was initiated by twin brothers Alessandro and Giacomo, who left their city lives to transform this degraded, rocky land with poor soil and scarce water into a thriving, off-grid ecosystem.
Our aim is to restore the land using permaculture principles, conserve water in a semi-desertic climate, and build a community that lives in ecological harmony.
We share our journey openly on YouTube to inspire others interested in sustainability, off-grid living, and permaculture. The project emphasizes creating a home where freedom, creativity, and ecological balance flourish, while also developing homesteading, wellness, and agritourism opportunities.

This agreement outlines the understanding between you (the volunteer) and Freedom Hill. It’s not a work contract—just a way to clarify how we live and collaborate here.
2. Your Contribution
As a volunteer, you’re invited to:
– Help with the daily flow of tasks – which might include gardening, eco-building, cooking, cleaning, organizing, or creative projects.
– Respect the land, the people, and the shared vision of this community.
– Bring a cooperative spirit and a willingness to participate.
3. Daily Rhythm
– Volunteers typically contribute around 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
– There’s flexibility depending on the weather, the needs of the land, and the energy of the group.
4. Accommodation & Meals
– In exchange for your help, you’ll be provided with basic, comfortable accommodation.
– Meals are simple and shared communally. There’s no fixed diet – and we’ll do our best to respect everyone’s dietary needs.
– Everyone helps with cooking, cleaning, and keeping shared spaces in good shape.
5. Minimum Stay
– The minimum stay is 2 weeks, to allow enough time for connection, learning, and meaningful contribution.
– If either side feels it’s not the right fit, we trust each other to communicate openly and part on good terms.
6. Community Living Guidelines
To help create a respectful and peaceful environment, we ask that you:
– Keep noise levels low during quiet hours.
– Be mindful and considerate of others in shared spaces.
– Avoid any behavior that may be harmful or disruptive to the community.
