Fabio & his mother were the BEST hosts! Even though there were no other guests/volunteers, I felt very safe & cared for as a solo female traveler. I had a private room, bathroom, & yummy home cooked meals! Fabio took me to try gelato & offered to take me to the beach & lake. They love sharing cultures - I made a Pakistani dish for them :) They also taught me how to make fresh pasta. Creating Tiktoks was fun, & I spent my free time reading/writing.
