I really enjoyed volunteering at the hostel! It was a chill but very social environment, and the tasks were manageable and enjoyable. The team is super flexible with hours and understanding if you need time off. There's a real family vibe, and the location is great close to some amazing beaches and food spots. A big thanks to Dede, Abdul, Alep, and the rest of the team for being so welcoming! I'd definitely recommend volunteering here if you enjoy being social and bringing people together.

Had an amazing stay at the hostel! Dede and the rest of the staff is so welcoming and making sure you have a good stay. The work was really good, helping out with social media and social activities, and I had a lot of freedom. The location is good for exploring northern Lombok and the staff also showed me around. Thanks for having me!

The hostel was amazing! The team was great and made me feel like home since day one. Dede, was always happy to support and was very flexible with the expected daily tasks, Abdul made sure his pancakes were up to their reputations, Alep, Una, Anton, Uni, Meli and Teri were always available for any questions and doubts. The hostel itself is amazing, very good vibe! I would definitely reccomend it and would definitely go there again! Thank you the hostel! ❤️❤️❤️

I spent two amazing weeks volunteering at the hostel Backpackers in Lombok. The work was super easy and enjoyable, mostly helping with social media or chatting with guests. The staff was friendly and the hostel was very clean and nice. The hostel itself had a great atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow travelers, and the surroundings were absolutely breathtaking—stunning beaches, lush nature, and amazing sunsets. On my days off, I explored waterfalls, went hiking, and enjoyed the laid-back island vibe.

I had a chill experience overall — the tasks were light and easy, and I appreciated the relaxed vibe. However, some important points: - The volunteer was on Karcof Hostel (not at the hostel as described). - The communication with the host was quite difficult. - Also, many of the listed benefits (like free laundry, kitchen, tours, surf lessons, pickup, and surfboards) weren't actually available during my stay. If you're flexible and just looking for a laid-back place to help out, it can still be a decent experience — just go in with adjusted expectations.
