I stayed with Rosario for almost two weeks, and it was a truly enriching experience. He is a generous and intelligent person who welcomed me into his life, introduced me to his friends, and supported my theatre performance. I recommend going with your own car to have more independence and to be able to explore beyond the farm. Personally, I found his communication style to be very warm and physically expressive, which might not feel comfortable for everyone. Still, I learned a lot — about him, about rural Italy, and about myself. I'm grateful for the experience.
