Programa detallado

This program invites volunteers to West Lombok to help restore critical coastal ecosystems by planting mangroves. Volunteers will engage in hands-on planting activities, learning about the vital role mangroves play in protecting coastlines, supporting marine life, and combating climate change. By working alongside local communities, you’ll make a meaningful impact on environmental conservation while fostering cultural exchange.


Actividades & Turnos

Mangrove Planting: Participate in planting saplings along the coastline to restore the ecosystem.
Environmental Education: Learn about the importance of mangroves in coastal protection, climate change mitigation, and marine biodiversity.
Community Engagement: Work closely with local villagers to understand their efforts in conservation and how you can support their initiatives.

Shifts:
Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Planting & Education)
Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Continued Planting & Cleanup)

Each shift includes breaks for rest and hydration, ensuring a productive but enjoyable day in nature. Volunteers will rotate between tasks to keep things dynamic and engaging.


Reglas

Punctuality: Arrive on time for your scheduled shift. Notify the team in advance if you’re unable to attend.
Modesty: Dress appropriately for the environment—wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Respect local customs by covering shoulders, chest, and knees.
Respect Nature: Handle all plants and tools with care. Avoid disturbing wildlife or damaging the surrounding environment.
Health & Safety: Follow all safety guidelines, wear sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
No Smoking or Alcohol: Smoking and alcohol are not permitted on site.
Respect Local Culture: Be mindful of local customs, traditions, and language. Treat community members with kindness and respect.
Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow volunteers and locals, keeping a positive and supportive attitude.
Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of individuals and the community. Do not share personal or sensitive information without consent.
