I would truly recommend this experience to anyone! I had a really great time meeting guests and the other volunteers. The schedule is flexible, so it is really up to you and the other volunteers on how you plan your time. Amarilis is great volunteer coordinator and made me feel incredibly welcome when I first arrived!

This programm of the hostel Norway is truly a gem. It's a great time for oneself but one is also actually creating a positive impact on the hostel. I stayed in both places, Bergen and Oslo. Together with the other volunteers you can decide which activities you want to do with the guests. It was always super fun, since you meet a lot of people and the spirit it the volunteer team was amazing. In Bergen you meet more people and therefore it's also more volunteers. I preferred that but I also loved my stay in Oslo. In both places you quickly become Friends with the staff and Amarilis is a great boss.

This experience was amazing! Thanks to everyone on the team I had a great time in Oslo and I really enjoyed meeting a lot of new people from all around the world. This volunteering experience was the best I've ever had and I'm very happy I got to experience it!

This was my first volunteering experience, and it was above my expectations! Everyone in the hostel is very welcoming and ready to help you. When you arrive, the previous volunteers explain to you everything you need to know to manage the activities. Thanks to this experience, every day you can meet many people from all around the world, discover the city, its museums and the nature which is so close! You can express your creativity, proposing activities for the guests and creating content for the Instagram account of the hostel. If you are new to this platform, come to the hostel!

This Hostel is absolutely perfect for a first experience in social volunteering, they open the program this summer and the guest of the Hostel are always glad to participate in games, hiking or Museum visits. All the reception team really take care of me and give me good advises, and offer their time and friendship. The place is beautiful and I was surrounded by forest and close to important parks and atractions in Oslo. I use to cook the lunch or dinner in the kitchen of the hostel and we share magical moments. I enjoy a lot this experience and recommend to everyone.
