I had such great time here. Manza and Chamath was so helpful and nice. Also loved my experience with other volunteers and im happy to have the chance to create my art on walls🙂 gonna miss here forever and cant wait to be back someday

My volunteering experience at this hostel in Sri Lanka was absolutely amazing! I felt just like at a friend's home – so welcoming and cozy. I had the chance to meet lots of locals, which gave me a true immersion into the country's culture. On top of that, they offered great discounts on surf lessons, and I made friends for life in such a chill and friendly environment. I honestly can't recommend this place enough, and I'll definitely be coming back!

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the hostel. You feel welcomed straight away and Manza and the team make you feel like family. We got discounted surf lessons from the hostel school at the beach and hours were very flexible. Overall I would do this experience again, as I got to meet some incredible people.

I had such a great time volunteering at the hostel in Weligama I can't recommend it more. It was low season so the work was chill. Everyone is so lovely and you really get immersed with locals. the hostel is partnered with a surf school on the beach which gave discounted lessons and Manza was flexible with hours to accomodate for lessons.

The experience at the hostel was incredible. Samith is part of the hostel family, you meet new people every day, you feel welcomed, and every day you have fun in many different ways. Overall, the tasks are very simple and the vibe is amazing. Thank you for the opportunity.

I have had the best time volunteering here. I was meant to only stay 2 weeks and ended up staying for 1 month! Manza and the team here feel like family, you always feel looked after here. In terms of work, as its low season right now it really depends on how many check ins/outs we have that day. Because of this the hours are flexible and you have plenty of free time to go and explore other learn to surf! I highly recommend this hostel for others looking to volunteer and I can't wait to come back and visit in high season!

The hostel became a little home to me during my time in Weligama! Manza was always so kind and flexible with tasks. I helped with the social media & it was so fun to put videos together for their page. I did come during the low season so it was very chill but so special. Be cool surf school was also awesome & the volunteers got a discount of board rentals! There's a lot of time to connect with the other volunteers/ guests. We went to parties, played pool, & beer pong during the nights & each night has an organized activity. The accommodation was comfortable & I had a great time!🥰

Briana joined us for a week to help with social media, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She created some amazing reels that really captured the vibe of our place and helped boost our online presence. Beyond her creative work, Briana was super supportive, proactive, and easy to work with. She fit in well with the team and brought a great energy to the hostel.

I volunteered at this hostel and really enjoyed the experience. The work was manageable and mostly involved helping around the hostel (check in/check out) and interacting with guests. In return, I had time to surf almost every day and join fun events in the evenings. It's a good place for people who want to improve their surfing, meet new people, and don't mind being in a lively, party-friendly environment!

I had a lovely time volunteering here! Despite being low season, there were many travellers who stayed at this hostel. It had a real homely vibe and was very sociable due to everyday having an event such as movie night or beer pong, which the owner also gets involved in which is fun! I was on reception and had to check in and out guests which was easy to do and a great way to meet the guests!
