Descripción: We kindly ask volunteers to contribute a small fee to help cover their accommodation expenses. This contribution will help maintain a comfortable living space, ensure access to essential amenities and meals, and cover utility costs such as water and electricity. Programa detallado

You’ll work side by side with local teachers and caregivers to provide early stimulation, education, and care to young children from underserved communities. Your time, energy, and creativity will make a lasting impact during these critical early years of life.

Whether you're a teacher, student, parent, or someone who loves working with kids, we welcome you to share your culture, skills, and heart with our children.


Actividades & Turnos

-Assisting teachers with classroom activities and routines

-Playing educational games, singing songs, and storytelling

-Supporting children in fine and gross motor activities

-Helping care for children with special needs (with guidance)

-Creating fun and inclusive learning materials

-Organising art, music, and creative sessions

-Sharing your own cultural games, stories, or language

-Supporting feeding and hygiene routines (as needed)

-Participating in Swahili language and cultural exchange sessions


Reglas

1. Do NOT give money to children under any circumstances, even if they ask for it.

2. Do NOT give gifts unless they are meant for all the children. If you give a gift, please leave it in the designated project area and make sure it is clear to everyone.

3. Do NOT provide sweets, except when you are leaving (as a goodbye gesture) or if it is someone's birthday or a special celebration.

NOTE: Volunteers are expected to contribute to the cost of their accommodation upon arrival. The fee can be paid weekly or monthly, depending on the prior arrangement made. Additionally, volunteers are responsible for their own expenses, including toiletries, laundry services, and any other incidental costs during their stay with host families.
