Programa detallado

Our project is in its early stages, and every helping hand matters. Volunteers will support us in both everyday farm life and evolving projects like:

Garden/nursery maintenance & planting
Cleaning & general upkeep
Cooking & food prep
Land clearing & infrastructure improvements

We're mindful of safety and do not expect volunteers to assist in heavy construction or technical work (we hire professionals for that). Instead, you’ll contribute where it’s safe, valuable, and fulfilling.

This journey has been over three years in the making for our family. Now, we’re excited to welcome adventurous and open-minded people who want to grow, learn, and help us shape a better way of living together.

Actividades & Turnos

Flexible shift times

25 hours per week (approx. 5 hours/day, 5 days a week)

Choose from weekly tasks or sign up for scheduled projects

We encourage outdoor work to be done in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the strongest sun; for these activities specifically task-appropriate clothing (breathable long sleeve shirt, full length pants, boots, and a hat) is essential for your own protection. Not much in Puerto Rico is truly dangerous, but fire ants, centipedes, wasps, and bees all hurt, and some plants' sap can be skin irritants; these are rarely an issue if simple precautions are followed (like not just sandals for yard work) but just part of life on a tropical forest farm.

Reglas

We’re just starting to open up to volunteers, so our main request is simple:
Be kind, clean, and communicative.

Respect shared spaces and fellow volunteers
Be mindful of our family-centered lifestyle (we have 2 small kids). We do love being social and deeply appreciate good conversation, new ideas, and humor of all kinds.
We love fun, music, and dancing, parties; just be mindful of the community we live in.
Bring curiosity, good communication, and a willingness to contribute meaningfully

This isn’t a resort — it’s a living project. If you're looking to reconnect with nature, live intentionally, and help build something from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.
