This was for sure the best experience I have ever had in my life. William was the best host you can ask for, very good at communicating and was always very respectful and understanding. The whole experience made me open my eyes and reflect on life in a whole other way. The teachers are very good at teaching the children and they will help you with whatever you need. William is a true hero and one of the kindest and smartest people i have met in my life, the energy and commitment he has to his project is incredible. If you are thinking of going all i can say is YES you won't regret it!

This experience changed my life. Meeting William and the kids in the project was a giant call from society to me on how to life a better life and how to be more grateful for everything. The hours at school are longer, but William is super flexible on adjusting it into you. He was like a big brother to me, constantly making sure I was ok. He is super polite! I am so glad my first experience with the Worldpackers was there, because it was amazing!

I would recommend this experience to anyone who wishes to see more of the world. William will give you a feeling that you are home. I was only here for the minimum period of 2 weeks, but still had a rich experience. I met lots of people in Williams circle and went around the city with locals. Definitely a nice break from everyday life, and a worthwhile cultural experience. If you are unsure about teaching, you can help around the school in other ways too, such as writing homework or playing with the children

William treated me like a brother while I was here. He is very passionate about helping the kids. If you have an idea for the school he is always open to suggestions. And if there is something you want to do on the weekends he'll help you find a way to make it happen.

My experience in Sawil Pax was memorable and incredible. I helped in the school teaching to kids from 3 to 6 years, they are loving and always with a smile. The country is beatiful with incredible people, and I always felt very safe, comfortable and welcome during my stay in Mwanza. Williams is an great man and host, he always helppened with anything I needed and the family made me fell like at home. We also had free time to enjoy and do some tourism. I recommend this project to everyone who wishes to live, help and learn in a different and excellent way. Please feel free to contact me.

They da great job! William is really dedicated to his projects (the school and an women equality's). The school stuff are friendly. Some times the communication was not absolutely clear (Kiswahili mainly speaking). But it was always with a smile and laugh that we communicated. I can say the children's have the best conditions that these people can give to them! My participation was left free. I choose to see all the 3 levels for the matter of English and numbers. I hope I helped more than bothering :D At William's home I felt at home! Confortable and happy :) family live.

I have been at this project for 2 1/2 month and altough you may think that now I know this place in and out, there were still new things to discover. Be it a new place in Kisesa or a new kid you somehow didn't notice before. Coming to the children - they are truly amazing. Each and everyone of them is different and it is something else to see them live their lifes in such a young age. In these 2 1/2 months alone I saw them change and even grow up a little bit. Not less amazing is the founder of the school, William. He is such a kind guy and a true visionary in all kinds of places.

Even if i tell you everything, it will never gets close as the experience really is. I have no worlds to describe the lovely time that I had with those children. They are lovely, beautiful and innocents little creatures living happly even with hard life that they have. I miss them every single day and I wish I have the chance to see them again. I love every single little angel that I have meet in Mwanza and I hope people keep going there to help them and giving them the chance or a fresh energy to do not give up studying.

My stancy in Sawil Pax Upendo the school was wonderfull. William and his people treated me as a family member. Sawil is a very nice project that is growing a lot and its nice to see the hugh effort they do to improve the life ot those 94 children. I helped them editing videos to promote their work at social networks. I hope more people could come to Mwanza to do the same, this project has to be known arround the world. Asante Sana, William. See you soon.

I would definitely recommend anyone to volunteering here! You can learn so much from this experience, from the commitment of William and all of the staff, the dedication of the teachers, the daily life in the community, the loving and welcoming family, the adorable kids, and the amazing work they do to empower women and promote leadership. They are always open to suggestions or any kind of help you can bring. The village is a lovely place, very safe and full of nature. Don't hesitate too much, if you have the time I think there is no better way to use it!
