I had an amazing experience volunteering in Vuno with Adrian and Bree! They are wonderful, kind, and welcoming hosts who made me feel at home from day one. The food was great, the accommodation very comfortable, and the work enjoyable and well-organized. I truly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a genuine and positive exchange!

I had a beautiful experience at the guest house & the guest house. Both places are truly unique, and the hosts are amazing people. The tasks are simple and give you the chance to enjoy the place. Vuno is a beautiful village, and the beaches nearby are absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed the work and spending time with other volunteers, as well as with Bree, Adrian, and Julie. I definitely recommend this wonderful place. Thank you guys for the hospitality. We're gonna see each other again, for sure!

I really enjoyed my stay at the guest house/ working at the guest house! it is a really lovely environemtn out of the main city. It felt like a very authentic experience living in such a beautiful village. I really enjoyed the work at the guest house and it was SUCH a pleasure working with Bree and Julie as they opened their beautiful the guest house/bar. There were a number of volunteers around so there were lovely social dynamics. Thank you breeeee and Adriene. Was a PLEASURE!

I was really disappointed with my stay here. I was unfairly asked to leave and then told later that I could stay, overall I felt the whole situation was poorly organised and constantly uncertain. I felt sad to leave the wonderful people I had met there however, in a way was relieved to leave the facilities we were staying in (which were not what were as advertised). I also felt relieved to be leaving the hosts, Bree was lovely however Adrian was not. The stress that surrounded everything created an environment of unpredictability and disagreement

Upon arrival to the hostel advertised to live in during the olive harvest we were redirected to another hostel - that was not built for the winter conditions and lacked proper facilities. We found Bree to be very kind and caring however, Adrian was sporadic and unpredictable. We were asked to leave - then stay - then to have a conversation with him where he apologised and also expressed his personal stress and concerns with the project, all in not even a 24hour period. The volunteers were lovely but it felt the hosts did not care for community and rather unpaid work. great location.

They were really kind. We had a one week trial period. After the trial period, I was politely asked to leave. I felt pretty blind sighted by this, but I made the best of it. Before this I asked to leave a little earlier than originally anticipated. I think they're looking for long term commitments as you fulfill a lot of roles with this position. I think this job is well suited for someone who is adaptable and is good without structure. You will need to hitchhike hike places and interact with locals for the role. It suited a lot of the other volunteers. A lot of volunteers could thrive here.
