Liz is a really energetic and confident person. She loves a chat and wants you to experience the best of Switzerland. She has great tips on places to visit throughout town and beyond. The work is pretty straight forward and Liz is clear about her expectations. It's worth noting that it's more 90% cleaning and 10% gardening. It didn't offer as much on sustainability as I'd hoped. Future programs should better balance the chores with learning. Highlight was the food and meeting other volunteers! Liz gives us great recipes and we have access to freshly harvested fruit and Veg!

Unfortunately Jessica stayed with me during a time period where I was on holidays for 2 of the 6 weeks she was there, and we had an unprecedented amount of rain and bad weather which is not normal for summer and prevented us from doing much outside. so not so much opportunity for learning due to those 2 factors. But it was great having her and I would definitely host her again!

Um dos melhores voluntariados que fiz. Liz é uma pessoa boa, sempre preocupada com os voluntários. Me senti em casa aqui. Muito atenciosa e faz questão que dividir um pouco da sua cultura conosco. O trabalho também é tranquilo, as horas são respeitadas, temos comida e é sempre fresca, pois temos um jardim a disposição, com várias hortaliças deliciosas, que nós ajudamos a cuidar. Sem contar a localização que é ótima, perto do centro e de um lago mágico e as paisagens aqui são de tirar o fôlego. Estou apaixonada por essa experiência e recomendo muito para todos os viajantes. ♥️♥️♥️

Liz is the most amazing host! She has unmatched knowledge of the surrounding area and sustainability. She is very easy to talk to in English, Swiss-German, and Spanish as she is fluent in all 3. During my time at the farm, I contributed to small construction projects, DIY projects, gardening and much more. I learned about eco sustainability and improved my German! Liz only accepts the highest quality volunteers, as this is an extraordinary place to learn sustainability in an extraordinary setting. I highly recommend the farm to anyone who seeks high quality in their chosen host.

My stay at the farm was amazing! Liz is an great host that is very communicative, organized, and helpful. The volunteering itself is simple and straightforward and is located in a beautiful area in Switzerland. The time off is great since there are a lot of things to do in the area and Liz makes sure to give great advice on things to do and even offering to take the volunteers on some short trips to the Alps nearby. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing time in Switzerland.

We stayed for a month with Liz and had a great time! Liz is full of energy and was always suggesting things to do together or solo. The tasks were gardening and cleaning a few airbnbs, both not too difficult. Lots of delicious veggie foods to try and I enjoyed learning new recipes and preserving things in the kitchen in particular. Theres a lot to do in Interlaken and surrounds if you enjoy nature and hiking. We would love to return someday in summer or winter!

Liz treated us exceptionally well. It was everything we hoped for and more. We were with her for 2 months and LOVED every minute of the work and living in Interlarken. We worked 5 hours/day, 5 days a week and were given extra days off if we worked overtime. The food and accommodation was as promised. We would recommend this to anyone outdoorsy and excited about hiking, biking etc on their days off. Liz is a big character with lots of energy! We are happy to answer any questions from anyone. Interlaken was beautiful! We had a great stay and we're able to da few of the hikes with the schedule. It's worth mentioning that the work is 90% housekeeping and only 10% in the garden, so we were a little disappointed about that, but it was still a learning experience to see how air bnb's are run in the Alps. Lots of the food we ate came from the garden so the access to fresh food was amazing, Liz has loads of knowledge so it's great to ask her for tips for your own garden. It was a great experience and we're happy to answer any questions about it :)

Maddie was a super positive and energetic person to have around. She helped me a lot with her housekeeping, As I have injuries and need a lot of help with that. And she had great ideas and suggestions which we put into action. Finally her and the team are to thank for realizing my outdoor kitchen dream! 🥰🙏🤩💪

This experience taught me more than I could have ever imagined, so I will treasure every single moment for the rest of my life. Liz is an amazing host and an even better human being. Be prepared to do tough but purposeful work. The location couldn't be better to explore beautiful Switzerland and be amazed by breathtaking views every day. Gracias por todo Liz!

I really loved my experience here overall. It was truly beautiful in every way possible. Liz was a great teacher and clear with expectations which made it easy to make the transition to work with her. Liz is an expert in the area so almost each day she would provide recommendations around where to explore dependent of the weather. There are many things to do and the trains are simple enough to navigate the area. Switzerland overall is quite pricey however it is great that all meals are provided at this location so it is easy to pack a sandwich when exploring. I would recommend this experience!
