Anyone who wants to experience Rio authentically should visit this hostel. It is unique and located right in front of the Feria Gloria market, which I visited every Sunday. The hostel is huge, so there's always a spot to find some privacy. You stay in a room exclusively for volunteers, usually six per room, mixed-gender. And keeping things clean in your shift but also private is taken very seriously (Theres a kitchen and bathroom only for volunteers). So, if you come to the hostel just to have a free fun time, this is not the place for you because we worked together as a team. What one person.

Eu indico muito a experiência de voluntariado no hostel. O hostel está bem localizado, tem uma estrutura confortável e a vista da sacada é incrível. O anfitrião Marcos sempre está no hostel e a comunicação com ele é muito tranquila. A dinâmica do voluntariado também é interessante, sendo uma escala rotativa semanal com tarefas bem práticas de serem feitas. O hostel recebe praticamente somente hóspedes estrangeiros, então falar espanhol ou inglês é importante. A equipe foi receptiva e o relacionamento com os hóspedes também é muito fácil, todos estão sempre animados para conhecer a cidade.

Eu amei o voluntariado, fiquei nas mídias sociais e foi bem tranquilo, fiz trilhas com o pessoal e aproveitei demais o Rio. O hostel é lindo, tem uma vista incrível do nascer do sol, o quarto é bom, a cozinha é bem equipada, tem espaço pra trabalhar home office e uma boa internet. O Marcos é um querido e a turma de voluntários que estava comigo era muy buena onda. Recomendo demais!

Eu gostei muito da minha experiência no hostel. O Marcos é um cara super legal e um ótimo anfitrião. A casa é muito linda eu me apaixonei pela vista que tem pra cidade. As tarefas são tranquilas e a gente aprende bem rápido. A localização é ótima, próximo da Lapa, e da Glória. Eu com certeza indico esse voluntariado. Muito obrigado por tudo o hostel. Espero voltar em algum momento ❤️

My experience at the hostel was one of the best I've ever had as a volunteer in hostels. From day one, I felt completely at home – the atmosphere, the team, the energy of the place... everything made it special. The hostel is well-organized and has everything you might need. The work is simple, organized in shifts, and leaves you plenty of time to enjoy the place and connect with others. Marcos is a wonderful person – always kind, available, and truly attentive to everyone. And the volunteer team was just amazing. We ended up creating a beautiful group that felt like a real family.

I had such a wonderful time here!! The hostel is beautiful and tranquil, the volunteer accommodations are really nice, and the tasks are straightforward and clearly communicated. Shoutout to Marcos for being a really kind and flexible host!! Also all the volunteers are incredible, definitely one of the best work exchanges I've done <33

Excellent hostel, the host is amazing and the staff if friendly and welcoming. Great part of the city and I greatly enjoyed my stay, I will definitely be back.
