La experiencia

We are looking for handy people to help us with many big and small projects we have outstanding at our rescue farm. Tasks will include fixing fencing, building new houses for the animals, renovating an old shed into a new communal space, assisting in the erection of a new barn and so on. This position is a camping position only, but we can welcome tents or camper vans on site. Volunteers will work 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Programa detallado

We live on an old estate with 13 rescue equines (donkeys, ponies and horses), 135 rescued pigs and various sheep, goats, dogs and chickens. 

The animals thrive in a calm environment; therefore we are looking for positive attitudes, happy to muck in and get through the manual labour, as well as patience and thoughtfulness with animals who need time to come around. This is incredibly rewarding if you enjoy tuning in to the little daily achievements and rehabilitation of the animals.

Actividades & Turnos

Volunteers will work 5 hours per day starting at 8.30am. We require lots of help renovating a new communal area, building new enclosures, assisting with he erection of a new barn, as well as many other building tasks that crop up each day.

Reglas

We require all of volunteers to follow a vegan diet while at the farm. All food we provide is vegan. We do not allow animal products on this farm. We are also a drug and alcohol free zone.
