I would definitely recommend this volunteer position! You get to see and experience the local life of the project. You will be able to see a lot of cool places . (I went spearfishing, shrimp hunting and he took me everywhere with the scooter. If you want to see how the people live on the other side of the world and you want to experience real local life this is the perfect place for you! There are a lot of friendly people and all the kids are amazing! Nearly everyday I went to the beach for a swim with the kids .

Satria is friendly and helpful! I was not feeling so well already before I came, but still a good experience with help from Satria. He showed me around and introduced me to other family and friends The volunteering tasks are on your own initiative. The children are very curious and joyul and can't wait to play/learn and meet you as volunteer. As I was not feeling too well, this can be overwhelming but also a real joy

I was warmly welcomed by Satria and Dary, who picked us up at the airport. They were thoughtful and suggested several activities without any pressure. The accommodation is simple but fine, with a mattress on the floor, a small wardrobe, and shared Turkish toilets. The beach is nearby and the locals are very welcoming. I met lovely children. Unfortunately, I got sick early on, but Satria and Dary supported me, took me to the hospital, and brought me food and drinks. I felt safe ! Despite this, I enjoyed discovering their culture and I'll keep a good memory of the experience. Thank you!

I had a wonderful time with Satria, Dery, the kids, and everyone we met during this adventure. Satria made sure we enjoyed every moment — taking us to waterfalls, rice fields, Gili Islands, hiking… His energy and kindness really made a difference! The children were full of joy and always eager to learn — such a pleasure to teach them! Even when my friend got very sick, everyone supported us with kindness, food, and care. Huge thanks to Dery and his family for the delicious and varied meals. This experience was full of learning, sharing, and human warmth. Thank you all!

This 7 days volunteering in the village changed my life. It was one of the most transformative experiences i had. The kids were lovely, they were eager to learn, they wanted to know more and more, they were active and joyful during the classes Our days were very flexible, without exact schedule, before noon the kids were in school, so until then we went to see waterfalls, mosques, rice fields Keep in your mind that this is a very poor and small village, you will sleep on a matrass on the floor and it's a bamboo house, so obviously there gonna be bugs, and you will shower out of a bucket

Our volunteer experience with Satria was very short. Satria is a kind person who welcomed us warmly. However, it was difficult for us to stay as the volunteer experience didn't have drinking water (only water from waterfalls). Although it may be normal for locals to drink it, my partner and I had stomach upset after drinking it. Additionally, there is quite a bit of noise in the surrounding area due to the presence of several mosques. We thank Satria for her hospitality. We understand that inconveniences may arise and hope that the necessary adjustments can be made to improve the situation.

Satria is a kind and attentive host, unfortunately we could not continue with the experience since there is no bottled or boiled water there, only from a natural source, that made us sick, it would be ideal if there was a little more organization to guarantee the final work of teaching English to children, for remote workers they should know that there will be a small daily fee for each day that you use the wifi, the place is an opportunity to connect with nature however it would be much better if the hygiene of the bathroom and the noise at night and early morning were more controlled.

This was more a cultural experience than a volunteer job.. it was nice to be in the local village and around the kids, they're lovely. The free tours/hikes are not free, I had to pay for me and for the host that was coming with me which was not nice since that's not what was agreed. I got Bali Bely there but the host was kind trying to help me with some local medicine. In the end also got some bed bugs that made my stay itchy in the end. Overall still a nice cultural experience but you're not gonna be actually volunteering.

This volunteering experience is truly eye-opening for anyone who wants to learn about the kampung culture. The villagers and Ono's family are warm, inviting, and eager to exchange knowledge. There's no set schedule and everything is on your own initiative but the children are playful, full of energy, and always excited to learn and spend time with you. It's important to remember that life, ideas and culture here is very different from the west, so being openminded, adaptable and knowing some Indonesian will help you integrate and connect with the community. I loved my time here, thank you ❤️
