I really enjoyed my stay at the organization. Leisa, Maisa, Maristela and Fernando are all amazing people who made me feel truly welcome. Leisa in particular does an excellent job organizing everything for the volunteers and making sure everyone has a great experience. If you want to experience Brazilian culture up close and contribute to something meaningful at the same time, I highly recommend this volunteering opportunity.

Leisa, Maristela and Marisa have been incredible across my volunteering journey at the organization. They made me feel at home and were caring and loving. You can ouldny regret to volunteer with them, they impact their communities in a positive and selfless manner. The NGO needs more visibility overall as they are doing an incredible service to the community and to the people around them.

It was fantastic to be part of this experience. Con Leisa, Fernandho, Maisa e Maristela mi son sentito subito a casa. The children of the project filled my heart, I taught them English and we often did music workshops. I think they were actually the ones who taught me something new every day. As a music lover I had a lot of fun playing and singing together with Leisa and Fernandho, they're really talented!! It is an experience that I will carry in my heart. I hope to return soon, maybe knowing a few more words in Portuguese. In the meantime, i can tell you one word: Obrigado!!

I visited the organization Association with my friends during our vacation in Brazil. We discovered an incredible family, and from the very first moment, we felt at home. Leisa, Maisa, and Maristela are amazing people who truly take care of you. They created this association years ago, founded on love for others, and they dedicate themselves to it every single day, wholeheartedly believing in their mission. My experience at the organization was beyond what I imagined. From the very first day you feel at home. Maisa, Maria Estela, Leisa and Fernandho welcome you like family. It's a deeply immersive way to discover Rio, taking part in community life, joining and even helping plan activities for the kids. You're surrounded by music, joy, and genuine connection every day. Even without knowing the language, you start to understand and communicate so quickly with them that it feels effortless. I leave with gratitude, unforgettable memories, and the hope to return.

I am eternally grateful for the incredible experience I had with the organization. Volunteering here truly feels like a home away from home; this family-run organization cares deeply about their volunteers. When I was sick, I was taken care of, when I needed something, they would be sure to help out, and they went above and beyond in every aspect. The work expected is very reasonable and very rewarding, and you get to engage with and help the community. I am so happy I volunteered here, but I'm sad my time was so short. I could not recommend this experience more, and I'd love to return to the organization soon :-)

The organization isn't just an organization. It's a home, a community full of love, respect, and a deep commitment to caring for others. The work is light, and they always make sure you feel comfortable and supported. And the food… I was so lovingly spoiled with incredible meals and homemade cakes. Um projeto inspirador, conduzido com grande dedicação em impactar positivamente a sociedade, através de ações sociais voltadas para mulheres em situação de vulnerabilidade, aulas de idiomas, música e apoio escolar. A Leisa, Maisa e a Mariestela fizeram-me sentir parte da família e foram incrivelmente compreensivas e flexíveis com os horários de trabalho, proporcionaram-me todas as condições para me sentir confortável, com um quarto e casa de banho só para mim. Agradeço de coração por me receberem tão bem. Desejo que este projeto continue a crescer e que impacte cada vez mais vida!
