This was first first time volunteering at a farm, and i am so happy it was willemien's!! she is super sweet and welcoming, the tasks are easy and fun and the working/break hours are respected. i volunteered with a friend and our accomodation was super cozy! the other volunteers also really helped to make this place home for a few weeks :) super grateful we got to learn about sustainable farming in such a warm and friendly environment :)) would love to go back!!

My stay at the farm was really really amazing, i had the best time there! Willemien is the sweetest person, always there to help with any question we have, i was there with a friend and the place we had to sleep was cosy for the both of us. The work is manageable, its not too hard, mainly we picked the raspberries. We also did campfires all together and that was really fun!! I really liked the people i met there, they were so so nice and it was a great envirnment to just be. I want to go back there for sure! :)

It was such an enriching experience! The host is very sweet and friendly.I made many friends on the farm.I arrived not speaking English, and I left speaking English. I definitely recommend the farm!

This farm is truly a warm and delightful place. Willemien treats everyone with kindness and respect. During communication, we could feel the spirit of respect and teamwork. Running a farm is never easy—every day comes with new challenges, just like life itself. During my stay, I met many wonderful people, each sharing their stories and helping one another. Perhaps this kindness among people is what keeps the world beautiful. Watching the plants grow day by day brought me quiet joy and gratitude. Thank you to everyone I met here, and thank you, Willemien, for creating a heartwarming place.

My stay here was the most wonderful time! The tasks and hours I worked were well communicated, and Willemien was very nice about work. the farm lives on the voulenteers community, it's an amazing place to get in touch with people and spend time together. Willemien also brings the community together, with BBQ nights, shared coffee breaks and a lot more. This truly was the most wonderful place to be- also a lot to explore around and easily finding the way ther per bike (which you can lend from Willemien) I absolutely recommend this place!

I had an excellent experience at Willemien's farm. She is very kind, explained everything clearly, and provided boots, a raincoat, and tools whenever needed for the work. The tasks were simple, the schedule was well respected, and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. It was a positive exchange, with great connections among volunteers, group barbecues, and coffee chats.

Our experience at Fruitweelde was great. The tasks were well explained, easy to accomplish, and varied between shifts, organized by Willemien. We worked 5h30 per day, with 2 breaks during the day. The daily allowance was enough to eat well by shopping at the supermarket and cooking. There are bikes available for use, which makes getting around much easier. An excellent opportunity to practice English and meet people from different places.

We highly recommend this farm, Willemien is lovely and made us feel like family always, the accommodation is good, mosquito repellent is a must, a little tip, the chores are easy to do some are a little hard but that's farm life, the area is beautiful for exploring lots of countryside and rural areas, thank you Willemien, we will miss the tea and coffee morning, hope to be back soon, a big hug.

Overall a great experience out in nature! I really enjoyed the campfire and the BBQ. Nevertheless it was great connecting with some of the other travelers and working on the fields has been lovely.

This has been my favourite experience whilst travelling. The volunteering hours are clear and Willemien is both kind and adaptable. It was an amazing experience that was a good mix between working and exploring places nearby. There are bikes which make getting around easier and the area is really beautiful.
