I recently had the privilege of volunteering at Mr. Jaril Kalinga's the project in Jinja, Uganda. Jaril is an exceptional host who, together with his fantastic team, provided comfortable accommodation and made me feel safe, welcome, and valued throughout my stay. With minimal external funding, he empowers elderly people and vulnerable children in his community and restores their hope and dignity by providing them with food, medicine, and access to education. His tireless dedication is inspiring, and I wholeheartedly encourage volunteers and donors to support this remarkable cause.

Mr Jaril in a very driven social worker. Trying with little or no funding to reach out to the most vulnerable people in his conmunity in greatee Jinja. Elderly neglected or abandoned by their family (no social security in Uganda), trying to provide shelter, acces to food... Vulnerable schoolchildren and orphans providing them with school supplies, so they can attend school. Bringing awaerness about inclusion and combat superstitions so each child, regardless of handicaps, being different get a chance to live it's full potential. A truly great experience.
